A man has been arrested over allegations he arranged to have sex with a 12-year-old girl after meeting her on the internet.
Henry Allen Ross, 23, allegedly told the youngster to meet him at a payphone in Tulsa during a conversation on Facebook.
The girl, who reportedly told Ross she was 14, informed her uncle about the request as she was chatting, a police official claimed.
The uncle took over the conversation, posing as his niece, and telling Ross that she was one her way.
He then called police, who sprung the trap when Ross arrived at the location on 36th Street and Harvard Avenue, near his apartment.
Ross and the girl had mutual friends on the social networking site.
But they did not otherwise know each other, according to an arrest report.
He was booked into jail after being arrested over attempted first-degree rape, making a lewd proposal to a minor and violating the computer crimes act, it was reported by Tulsa World.
His bail was set at $76,000.
