Police have charged a man over the death of a nightclub promoter who fell from a high rise building on the Gold Coast two weeks ago.
Tumma Cousins, 29, plunged 31 storeys to his death at the Beachcomber Resort at Surfers Paradise on May 11.
Detectives investigating the case suspected foul play from the outset after discovering signs of a violent disturbance in his unit and neighbours heard people fighting the night he died.
Police from the Gold Coast Northern Investigation Group arrested a 24-year-old Hope Island man with links to an outlaw motorcycle gang yesterday.
He was charged with murder and is due to appear in Southport Magistrates Court tomorrow.
Investigators say more than one person was involved and further arrests are likely.
