Rowan Atkinson, the actor who plays Mr. Bean, made an appearance Friday in the Olympics opening ceremony as a synth player in the orchestra. His whole job was to play one key over, and over, and over during “Chariots of Fire.”
He makes faces, sneezes, blows his nose and throws the tissue in the pianist’s piano. And he gets more than a little carried away in the moment.
