A HEATHRIDGE mum and her five-year-old son escaped serious injury last night after a car crashed into a bedroom while they were both sleeping.
The Ford Falcon sedan slammed into the family’s Drummer Way house just after 9pm, knocking a garden wall before veering into the master bedroom.
No one was injured injured but the narrow escape has left the young mum badly shaken.
The driver demolished a children’s cubby house as he tried to reverse out of the back yard.
An 18-year-old Heathridge man was arrested at the scene but has been released pending further inquiries.
