  • Update: Baltimore City, Maryland (First reported 06-18-14): Two officers now face felony animal cruelty charges that carry jail time for their role in the killing of a Shar Pei named Nala. One of the officers held the dog down while the other slit the dog’s throat.
  • Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania: A man has filed suit against police officer. The incident was recorded, showing him being pistol whipped, pulled through a car window, thrown on the ground and further assaulted.
