Palestinian shot dead by Israeli forces in West Bank

Days of Palestine, West Bank -Israeli occupation forces shot dead on Tuesday afternoon Palestinian boy Al-Khalil’s refugee camp of Al-Arrub in occupied West Bank.

Palestinian medical sources at Al-Mizan Hospital in Al-Khalil said that the Palestinian boy was shot in the chest by a live bullet.

“The boy was admitted to the hospital in very critical conditions,” a doctor in the Palestinian hospital told Days of Palestine. “The doctors did their utmost efforts to save his life, but unfortunately he died.”

According to the Palestinian medical sources, the boy was identified as Omar Jawabrah, 16, from Al-Arrub. He was killed after the Israeli occupation forces had stormed the refugee camp and violently dispersed a demonstration by school students.

Eyewitnesses reiterated that the demonstration of the Palestinian boys was peaceful. “All what they did was throwing stones at the Israeli occupation forces when they shot tear gas and rubber bullets at them, trying to disperse them,” one of the eyewitnesses told Days of Palestine.
