Parasite Cleanse – Day 5 to 10 (Feeling a Shift)

Day 5-10

Everything seems to be going alright. Still having random dreams about eating sweets, but I dont notice any real food cravings during the day. I do notice some fatigue and knee pain today still, but nothing unmanageable.

One thing I do notice is that I am eating more things with higher nutrient content in general. I am also incorporating some superfoods into my diet, such as spirulina, maca, chia seeds, garlic, chorella, hemp powder, and a few others.

The change in diet has also made me very aware of what I am eating, whereas before I didnt really pay as much attention on a day-to-day basis.

[Time passes…]

Nevermind what I said about the lack of cravings. Suddenly Im craving anything and everything with an unquenchable hunger. What happened here? I dont even mind eating mustard seeds apparently. Whoa. Not sure what thats about.

[More time passes…]

Im starting to think the cravings are more mental than anything. Im not really hungry physically at all; in fact Ive been getting more than enough calories. I think my mind is either bored, or somehow rebelling against not getting the foods it usually likes, so its asking for as much of any “allowed foods” as it can get. This is what seems to be the case that is.

[Time goes by…]

After thinking about this a while, I have gained more awareness about this sort of eating. I am better able to tell when I am actually hungry vs. my mind telling me to eat. This is also helping things along. I still do crave sugar some though, but Im sticking to my plan.

Final thoughts for these days:

I notice that although this cleanse is a physical change, its also something that has affected me on all levels. I also feel like it has been cleansing me on an emotional level so far. Its like an emotional detox I feel like Im going through as well. Very interesting. I wonder what the last part of this cleanse will be like?

I also have been drinking unsweetened almond milk, and I usually drink sweetened, so I find it weird that every time I pour a glass I somehow expect it to taste sweet every time, even though I consciously know its unsweetened. This has been every time I pour myself some. You think my mind would get the hint that its not sweet anymore? Perhaps not quite yet…

Anyway, making excellent progress!
