In the emotional interview, Jane Weekes broke down in tears as she described
her memories of the last time she saw her children.
“The three of them sitting at a little table, with their banana and their
bottle of water, waving goodbye,” she said, fighting back tears.
The Weekes’ have said they plan to take the bodies of their children back to
New Zealand to be buried, and are hoping to hold a memorial service for them
over the weekend.
