Ranch Owner ‘Clarifies’ How He Found Scalia’s Body, Check Out How His Story Changed

There’s been much suspicion surrounding how Justice Antonin Scalia’s body was found at a Texas ranch on Saturday morning, especially since the story seems to be changing. The man who originally found Scalia has decided to “clarify” his previous remarks, and it’s only going to fuel further suspicion.

GOP presidential candidate Donald Trump has expressed his own skepticism over the alleged chain of event surrounding Scalia’s sudden death, and twice now he’s alluded to some sort of conspiracy or cover-up occurring.

“They say they found a pillow on his face, which is a pretty unusual place to find a pillow,” Trump said Tuesday during an interview on Michael Savage’s radio show “The Savage Nation,” according to 10News.

He’s not the only one suspicious of a conspiracy either. Many in America have repeatedly questioned why there was no autopsy done, why it was that Scalia’s body was embalmed so quickly, and how the justice of the peace was seemingly so careless in her handling of the incident.

Plus, numerous law enforcement officials have come forward and stated that without question, they would have investigated the incident because of Scalia’s high-profile.

“If you’re called to the scene to investigate a death, you will assume that death is a homicide until your investigation proves otherwise,” former homicide commander of D.C.’s Metropolitan Police Department, William Ritchie said. “If the death scene was handled in an appropriate manner, we wouldn’t be having this discussion.”

The man who found Scalia, John Poindexter, who has no experience in criminal investigations and couldn’t have possibly known if there was foul play or not, originally said that everything seemed fine about the justice’s body when he found it. He also said that there was a pillow “over his head” when he entered the room. Now he appears to be walking that statement back a little bit.

10New has more:

The conspiracy theories kicked into high gear after the owner of the ranch where Scalia died told a Texas newspaper that Scalia had “a pillow over his head.”

The ranch owner, John Poindexter, tried to clarify his comments, telling “CBS This Morning” that Scalia “had a pillow over his head, not over his face as some have been saying. The pillow was against the headboard.”

Judge Cinderela Guevara said investigators found no signs of foul play or struggle. She added Scalia’s personal physician believed “the death was due to natural causes.”

Keep in mind that Guevara’s determination was based upon what a U.S. Marshall, who also wasn’t trained in homicide investigations, had to say about the scene. It was his assessment and that of Poindexter and others who were there which brought her to her conclusion, which is shady at best.
