  1. TRIPOLI, Libya (AP) — Libyan rebels said they launched their first attack on Tripoli in coordination with NATO late Saturday, and Associated Press reporters heard unusually heavy gunfire and explosions in the capital. The fighting erupted just hours after opposition fighters captured the key city of Zawiya nearby.

Gunbattles and mortar rounds were heard clearly at the hotel where foreign correspondents stay in Tripoli. NATO aircraft made heavy bombing runs after nightfall, with loud explosions booming across the city.

“We planned this operation with NATO, our Arab associates and our rebel fighters in Tripoli with commanders in Benghazi,” Mustafa Abdel-Jalil, the head of the rebel leadership council, told the Arab satellite channel Al-Jazeera. Benghazi, hundreds of miles east of Tripoli, is the rebels’ de facto capital.

Abdel-Jalil they said chose to start the attack on Tripoli on the 20th day of the Muslim holy month of Ramadan, which fell on Saturday. The date marks the ancient Islamic Battle of Badr, when Muslims first fought for the holy city of Mecca in A.D. 624.

A couple hours after the rebels said they had attacked Tripoli, state television ran what appeared to be a live audio message by Gadhafi. He did not appear on television but sounded like he was calling the message in on a poor phone line which crackled at times. He announced the time and date twice to prove that he was speaking live.

Gadhafi condemned the rebels as traitors and “vermin” who are tearing Libya apart and said they were being chased from city to city — a mirror image of reality.

“Libyans wanted to enjoy a peaceful Ramadan,” he said. “Instead they have been made into refugees. What are we? Palestinians?”

Government spokesman Moussa Ibrahim appeared on Libyan television to deny there was an uprising in Tripoli. But he acknowledged that there was some kind of unusual activity.

“Sure there were some armed militants who escaped into some neighborhoods and there were some scuffles, but we dealt with it within a half hour and it is now calm,” he said.

The claims from both sides could not immediately be independently verified.

If the rebel did indeed attack Tripoli, it would be the first time in the 6-month-old uprising. The rebels made early gains in the revolt, capturing most of the east of the country and rising up in a few other major cities such as Zawiya and Misrata. But Gadhafi’s forces fought back and until a week ago, the civil war had been mired in a stalemate.

Last weekend, rebels from the western mountains near the border with Tunisia made a dramatic advance into Zawiya, just 30 miles west of Tripoli, and captured parts of the city.

Gadhafi appeared increasingly isolated as the fighters advanced closer to Tripoli, a metropolis of 2 million people, from the west, south and east and gained control of major supply roads into the capital.

After hard-fought battles for a week in Zawiya, the rebels finally wrested the city’s oil refinery, central square and hospital from Gadhafi’s forces and drove them out in a major victory on Saturday that clearly swung momentum in their favor.

Hours later, the attack on Tripoli was claimed.

Col. Fadlallah Haroun, a military commander in Benghazi, said the battles marked the beginning of Operation Mermaid — a nickname for Tripoli. He also said the assault was coordinated with NATO. Haroun told the AP that weapons were assembled and sent by tugboats to Tripoli on Friday night.

“The fighters in Tripoli are rising up in two places at the moment — some are in the Tajoura neighborhood and the other is near the Matiga (international) airport,” he told the Arabic satellite channel Al-Jazeera. Tajoura has been known since the beginning of the uprising in February as the Tripoli neighborhood most strongly opposed to Gadhafi’s regime.

Earlier Saturday, the government organized a trip for reporters to the airport to show them it was still in government hands.

A representative for Tripoli on the rebel leadership council told the AP that rebels were surrounding almost every neighborhood in the capital, and there was especially heavy fighting in Fashloum, Tajoura and Souq al-Jomaa.

Those three neighborhoods have been bubbling with discontent ever since the beginning of the Libya uprising. They paid the highest price in deaths when protesters took the streets in anti-Gadhafi protests, only to be met with live ammunition by government militiamen.

“We don’t have exact numbers yet, but we are hearing that many fighters have fallen — very likely over 100,” said Mohammed al-Harizi.

U.S. Assistant Secretary of State Jeffrey Feltman visited Benghazi on Saturday.

“Gadhafi’s days are numbered,” he said. “The best case scenario is for Gadhafi to step down now … that’s the best protection for civilians.”

In Benghazi, there were thousands celebrating in the main city square, shooting fireworks and guns into the air, and waving the rebel tricolor flag.

They got support from Abdel-Salam Jalloud, a close Gadhafi associate who defected Friday. Speaking on Al-Jazeera TV from Italy, he told the people of Tripoli, “You must rise up all together, at once,” and called on Gadhafi’s forces to joint the opposition. “The decisive moment is approaching,” he said. “You are protecting a clinically dead regime.”

The taking of Zawiya, a city of 200,000, cleared the last major hurdle to a rebel march on Tripoli from the west. Rebels said Gadhafi’s troops put up little resistance before fleeing their posts in Zawiya’s hospital and multistory buildings around the main square — another sign suggesting that the Libyan dictator’s 42-year-old regime is crumbling.

Trucks and cars packed with rebels as well as civilians drove around Zawiya’s central square, honking horns, flashing V-for-victory signs and yelling “Allahu akbar” or “God is great!” An ambulance crew posed for photos on the sidewalk while a rebel called through a loudspeaker on his truck, “Zawiya is liberated!”

Still, regime troops kept firing rockets and mortars at the city from positions in the east even after rebels said they drove them out, and thunderous booms echoed across the city. The central hospital was hit by mortar rounds early Saturday, several hours after it was taken by rebels. The attack badly damaged the operating rooms, punching a hole into one of the outer walls. Metal slats from the ceiling were strewn across the floor, and soot-covered the operating tables.

Rebels also claimed that they captured the city of Zlitan, 90 miles (140 kilometers) southeast of Tripoli, after more than two months of fighting.

“Zlitan is now completely liberated after a severe fight, and for the first time I can say we have control over it,” Bani told reporters Saturday.

In Zawiya, fighters were bogged down around the central square for much of the week, held back by mortar, rocket and anti-aircraft fire from Gadhafi’s troops. However, on Friday afternoon, rebel reinforcements arrived and pushed toward the square and the hospital, driving out regime forces before nightfall, said 21-year-old rebel fighter Mohammed Abu Daya.

The rebels said Saturday that they were now driving Gadhafi’s forces even farther east, toward the village of Jedaim on the outskirts of Zawiya.

Gadhafi’s forces fired rockets and mortars at the city, killing a doctor his wife and their 9-month-old baby when a mortar hit their home, medics said.

Zawiya’s main square was covered with traces of the recent fighting. Nearly every window in the surrounding hotel, banks and government office buildings was shattered, and bullet and shrapnel holes marred every wall. Shelling had collapsed two floors of one of the five buildings near the square that had been used as Gadhafi sniper positions.

The dead bodies of two government fighters lay in the square’s central plaza, covered by blankets. Rebels held their breath as they passed the bodies, which some said had been there for days.

Zawiya native Faiz Ibrahim, 42, took great pleasure in walking safely through his hometown’s central square. Ibrahim, trained as an engineer, had taken up arms to defend the city early in the uprising, but went underground when Gadhafi’s forces retook the town. He came out of hiding as soon as rebels from the south entered the city.

“We praise God that we can come here now that we have liberated the square,” he said, his Kalashnikov rifle over his shoulder. “We have to see all the destruction that it took to get them out.”

    • This is nothing more than what they want you to know,
No independent reports, Just the rebels word for it!
      what a crock of bullshi-ite

  2. The prison system is a big business in America just like the war on drugs. Drug wars are waged by the very drug dealers. All over Latin America and now in Afghanistan it’s a big business in the name of war on drug. western intelligence agencies were caught in numerous occasions doing the criminal acts. but where do the billions of dollars worth of drug money go? why do we have more than 50 million Americans without health care? why do we have 40 million jobless? do we have a future? why can’t we ever afford a vacation? why can’t we afford college? can we ever retire? are the majority of Americans indentured slaves?

    • They creates those wars to jack up the price of drugs. In Brazil, they have taken a completely different approach. Oxi (abbr. from Portuguese oxidado) is a stimulant drug based on cocaine paste originally developed in the Brazilian Amazon forest region. It is reportedly a mixture of cocaine paste, petrol, kerosene and quicklime (calcium oxide). This description may be a garbled account of an acid-base extraction procedure. Its popularity has soared in the last decade, in part due to its strongly addictive effect and lower price than other common drugs. While in the 1980s it could be found mainly in the Amazon region, the police in major Brazilian cities have recently reported significant drug arrests.

It seems Brazil wants all of their poor people to be drugged out of their minds on a magical concoction of cocaine paste and gasoline. I say magic because to obtain the effects, it has to defy chemistry and logic. This stuff is destroying lives in Brazil. When you start putting gasoline and kerosene in drugs, it makes the world seem like a joke.

Thor god of thunder is going to bring his hammer to the government in Brazil for crimes against those suffering in poverty in South America.

People are suffering all over this world.

      • Well, Hans, fix it,yo-yo!

  3. In the current paradigm, the corrupt authority’s goal is to make felons of as many people as possible. This is why sentencing is becoming harsher all the time. And that is because once you’re a felon you can no longer vote or own a weapon — two key components of a free and sovereign American individual. What does the corrupt authority fear most? Voters and weapons owners. Know this in your engagements with this corrupt authority, and cloak yourself as obedient during this street-level engagements. In this way you emerge to remain a force for the important battles which lie ahead of us. Don’t be low-hanging fruit for them. The time for standing up will come. The next 12 to 24 months is a time for patience, organizing, learning, teaching and recruiting. Stay viable and look ahead.

    • In addition to staying out of prison and not being charged as a felon, do not get on put probation. On probation the authority can search you and your home without a warrant.
Under this system, the end-around play for a corrupt authority is to place as many of us on probation as possible — and effectively secure their victory while sidestepping battles of ideology and politics. In short, stand up to authority too soon and you lose before the real battle even begins.

      • Did you forget the Patriot Act?
you don’t have to do shit to be disappeared
in the soviet socialist states of America.
        jerks

  4. Here is a case for Serpico,

The Atlanta Child Murders, known locally as the “missing and murdered children case”, were a series of murders committed in Atlanta, Georgia, United States from the summer of 1979 until the spring of 1981. Over the two-year period, a minimum of twenty-eight African-American children, adolescents and adults were killed. Atlanta native Wayne Williams, also African American and 23-years-old at the time of the last murder, was arrested for and convicted of two of the murders.

The criminal profiler John E. Douglas stated that, while he believes that Williams committed many of the murders, he does not think that he committed them all. Douglas added that he believes that law enforcement authorities have some idea of who the other killers are, cryptically adding, “It isn’t a single offender and the truth isn’t pleasant.”

Douglas was consulted in yet another controversial case known as “The West Memphis Three”. In 1993 three eight year old boys were murdered and police and the prosecutors office claimed the children died as a result of a satanic sacrifice. Three teens were later tried and convicted. Douglas concluded the case was not satanic but rather a personal cause homicide.

The West Memphis Three were just released from prison for these crimes. The murders occurred in Arkansas, home to Bill Clinton and Mike Huckabee. It also home to Trenton Lee Stewart, author of “The Mysterious Benedict Society.” A book designed to control the minds of children. It openly speaks of mind control.

Now if we can get Serpico, Columbo, Mrs. Columbo and Mrs. Fletcher working cases cold cases.

  5. outstanding rare interview, don’t miss this one
Damn good movie from ’73 starring Al Pacino.

    SERPICO

  6. I only basically have 2 pieces of advice for americans.
One.Belive and have faith in God.Trust Him and lean on Him.I mean that sincerely.TWO Keep your guns oiled and your powder dry.

  7. Alex states at the end of the interview-”You’re one in a million, I just wish that wasn’t the case.” That pretty much says it all, huh?

  8. I just spent the night in jail for taking a step back and saying woah when a criminal with a badge surprised me by illegally seizing my pocket knives without warning and for no apparent reason. I wasn’t under arrest when the theiving brutes violated my 4th Amendment rights, battered me, kidnapped me, and unlawfully imprisoned me in a different city. They later charged me with “Resisting an Officer Without Violence”, though forcing me to do anything is a clear violation of the 13th Amendment against slavery. I told that to the worthless piece of garbage sitting on the bench and he obviously didn’t give a damn about the 2nd Amendment, the 4th Amendment, or the 13th Amendment. The Public Defender glared at me with wide eyes and vigorously shook her head at me as she was going to gun me down if I pressed the issue. So I plead no contest and the POS on the bench found me guilty of resisting criminals with badges, of believing in the Constitution, of not being an abject slave. An hour later they handed me a bill I’ll never be able to pay off, kicked me out of jail, and when I checked my belongings I realized they stole a couple silver coins and a few bags of various seeds I’d been saving up to combat Codex Alimentarius. They attacked me, kidnapped me, stole my stuff, and handed me a God damned bill. I no longer have any compassion for cops. Every time I hear about a cop getting shot, I will thank God.

    • Bet when you started using amendments, he just looked shugged it off, then began raping your income… It’s sad but that is how things are… Had a female cop here in ABQ, roll up on me for parking to long in one spot.. She had an attitude from the get go, when my friend started to question her, thought she was going to call for back up… They are not public servants.. Think Transformers, in the movie has right, on the cop car, it says to prosecute and enslave….

    • You will not have to pay the bill off.Soon you will have your revolution.Soon the government of the world will change.A one world government is coming. It will be one under God with His Messiah as King. There will be a great conflict forst. The stakes are high.Turn to God now.Trust and Faith is what you need.

      • Amen, shit is just to close to what the Bible says 2000 yrs. before it happens. To much of a coincidence. I got to believe it. Nobody can tell the future except for God.
I’ll die before my family and I take allegiance from fascist nazi, evil, oppressors.

    • Hehehe some1 got there cherry broken.
But ur right, its not funny, its a grim state of affairs indeed.
What you describe has been the story of lots of our lives.
Doesn’t matter where you are from, what kind of car you drive, or what color your skin is… we are and have been under harassment and attack by an organization that protects only itself and its power over the people.

  9. now THAT’S what a cop should be.

  10. What is ironic, America has a list of all counties that have state sponcerd terriost..Now, We fund the Colubian rebels, yet we are not the list..

    • If anyone remembers, Cuba once was all around world… Then Iran Contra came to light and our op’s were caught red handed.. CIA, Ollie North….That fell off the head lines… All they did is changed the Name… Now it is Alqeda.. All the same opritives.. Just in the Middle East now….

  11. GREAT JOB TO THE CREW GETTING MR.SERPICO ON I WAS ENTERTAINED AT THE SAME TIME AS BEING DISGUSTED BY THE WAY OUR COUNTRY IS RUN OR OVERRUN RATHER

  12. Please somebody explain to me with correct grammar. Native speakers use too many incorrect grammar so sometimes I can’t understand comments which is replied to me at all. Furthermore, I’m not good at listening English Sorry.

Anyway, I want to know about this!!

Main stream say king of the Drugs are dead by U.S government. Even though, I couldn’t see their bodies. What is right? U.S government and Mexican Drugs gang are cheating to us?What’s happening? In history about Drug war by U.S, there are so many King of the Drugs are murdered!! all the things are a lie? The Kings are alive?

Please somebody tell me about this!!

    • Yes the drug kings are alive and also making the drug laws the kings you are talking about are really court jesters

      • If you stop and think, this war on drugs started in Colubia, it was part of the Iran Contra scandal, our govt., was saying that Cuba, had troops in Angola, Uwanda, Rodesia, etc.. However, all that just vanished off the news, in the 80,s… Now, we have the updated version Al-quada.. It’s all the same thing.. Who is funding Al-quada..China only spends 90 billion a year for all their military.. Our is 800 billion… Just to fund Al-Quada would cost 1 or 2 billion a year.. Yet, no one knows who is suplying the money…

        • Some will come here and say, it’s the POPPY. However, we have hundred thousand troops there, so how do they get a billion or two to fund Al-Quada… Iran Contra, has already proven the CIA, knows how to fund such things…Think about it, it our gov…

  13. God bless Frank Serpico, they never got the blood suckers at the very top though did they Frank? They never do? A certain line that us common clay can not and never have been able to cross as to pursue those teflon Godless cockroaches that sit on there fat asses in ivory towers ,living off the profits of drugs that are sold to children and poor miss guided souls everywhere all over the world. The prohibition in the 30′s was there brain child also, that one didnt pan out for them,my humble opinion. CIA. drug war is not about profit, the main goal is destruction of the family unit,ORDO AB CHAO ,from the Aeneid ,the Nephilim bible of the Caesars, order out of chaos to bring up the new order of the ages, another direct quote from there Nephilim bible. Jesus Christ is Lord ,His Kingdom will have no end ,unlike the bloodlines of Anakim/ Anunnaki .

  14. Thank you Alex I am in my early thirties and honestly did not know that Frank Serpico was a real person.

    • Same here, interview was very inlighting… Sad state of affairs they have gotten away with mass murder her in the United States, again and again, The Okc bombing, a few days before, I had to get a copy of my birth certificate.. When you went in to the building, govt esscorts walked you to the office, stood there out side the office as you talked to whoever, they knew what was going to take place.. As well there was a lot of construction taking place in the building.. drilling, you could her it, days before it went down.. was there..

      • Interesting…Was that the normal behavior or only during that period?

        • It was not normal, these guys were high level…They had the best suits, I have evr seen… They had identifycation tags.. Was not FBI, was NSA… No one one got in or out without an escort.. More like a week before… I asked the worker why they were there..She said it was because of all the construction taking place…Then just gave me a look, like she thought it was strange too.

      • I live in Oklahoma and know an army recruiter, he was called to another city that week. I want to know why there were no recruits, doctors, or military personnel in the Federal Recruiting Center?? It was located in the basement. The Murrah Building was also slated for removal and rebuilding. A condemned building and in my life, I never knew there was daycare in the building. I also know that a suspect [Nick Berg] was questioned, he was Moussaqui’s room-mate in Norman, Moussaqui was learning to fly at Will Rogers FAA training center. There, I found the 3rd suspect [Nick Berg], He was ex-army demolitions and was aide to Governor David Boren while Boren was working for the CIA, Boren now runs the Oklahoma University. Also Nick Berg was the first hostage killed by Iraqi insurgents, First video showed his head cut off with a sword. Anyone remember this? Now, Moussaqui was the 20th hijacker who never got to help fly planes into WTC on 9/11. This I tell people and they just remember dead babies, not the scumbags that really pulled this [bombing] off.So I beleive that i have connected okc bombing to ’93 bombs in basement of WTC, and 9 years later we have the towers fall down. These false-flag operations are used to make americans start civil war and they can declare martial law and reduce our population, We are the only nation with any rights left at all. I have faith that our troops will try a revolt instead of herding us off to prison camps, but those troops have been killing video game figures and may just enjoy killing from a distance, maybe a third of the troops will join the people. We did not raise hell about Ruby Ridge or the massacre at Waco, so what can one person do to stop them. We need to stop our OWN MILITARY, the neo-cons are in control of our countries war-machine, they even shot a missile at the pentagon to make it appear we have an enemy. The rulers think that since they are the SMART people, they need to run the whole world, cause WE are the MARCHIN MORONS!! [T.S.Eliot poem]]. The first two to the gallows should be Brzienski and Kissinger. The Bush family, John Kerry, and I will stop because my list will go on for pages of the politicians who are committing by this one world government nightmare. I am tired of all the young people here in town that cannot find legal jobs. No wonder they sell drugs, shoplift, steal or anything just to get coin to eat. I watched JFK die on color tv, been raised up in military bases around the world. LBJ and Nixon were two of the worst for Vietnam war and taking us off the gold standard. Keep your powder dry!

        • I say we ressurect Judge Parker, bring back public hanging… Round them all up, give a fare trial, no apeal… Get back to our roots, stop playing their games.. That would send a message and prevent a revolution..

        • In the Constitution robbing a peron of finances, is considered personal injury..

        • A person that is.. Not Peron… Not sure what that is..

        • Daid is not dead, he was not there when it all went down.. I watching TV, about it when he knocked om my door.. My mother answered the door, told me David was wanting to see me.. We talked for about an hour in my front yard in Tulsa.. He was going to go back, said he had a tunnel he used to get out.. He is not in Country… But he is not dead… We were child hood friends..

  15. Although, many of us and others have good solid idea’s of how to get it all back on track..The Elected officals are not listening, are not going to listen because, they make their money listening to corprate intrest.. Try to spend as little as you can suporting big comapanies…

  16. Hunter Thomas ran for sheriff in some town in Colorado, He knew everything that was going on with the drug bussiness, He said over and over again that the criminals were ripping the users off. So why not just close police depts down and use them strickly as distributers of drugs. We don’t need any sticking police anymore.

  17. There is no such thing as a good cop if he is in “the gang of code of silence” “Jesus said a little leaven ferments the whole lump”. If one wants to be a “good” cop, he will do what Frank Serpico did get out of the police force or expose their criminal NAZI conspirators and Treasonous “Code of corruption” buddies. If one cop is bad, they are all bad if a good cop knows it and says nothing.

    • Serpico said he got a medical discharge. The good cops have two choices – stay
to fight corrupt cops and probably get killed, or leave. It’s easy for people to talk
when they don’t have a gun to their heads.

      • It is even more tragic when it is their hand and not someone else’s. We need our heroes….never let them forget that they are not alone.

        • your hero is you. nobody else.

      • It seems that was the point I was making dickhead. Read again. Rabid a m i t y p i n g t o f a s t f o r y o u or w h a t i s y o u r p r o b l e m ? T h a t i s a q u e s t i o n.

    • His comment on OBL being buried at sea raises another question I have been asking for years….Where is Ariel Sharon? We know the technology is being applied but honestly isn’t this a bit ghoulish?

      • @roaddog6. I have and do know people who I consider heroes. Heroes are like many things in life…subjective.

@onion You have posted the same story before about some woman calling in correcting AJ. Never heard it and if it did happen I hope he politely thanked her and disconnected. Why are you wasting space by complaining about such trivial matters. Well, I guess it is important to you so get it off your chest and move on. Oh, and by the way is English your first language? Whether it is your first, second or third language doesn’t matter here just as long as others understand what you are trying to say.

        • its just that I have never had a hero I guess. I believe in me.

  18. Nothing, nothing is going to stop or, change without a drastic change.. The lawyers are corrupt, the judges bought off, the Congress bought and paid for by Global intrest, large corporations are nothing but Parisits.. Lobbyist, nothing but, retired criminal ex-Congressmen… There is no way to correct the problems, when good people are being put in jail for trying to bring possitive change…Because, the crininals are running the show and our Govt. Has made us powerless..

  19. Can’t you do something about the audio. Could not listen to Serpico. (

    • His mike was broke and he was speaking by speaker phone.

    • I have a brother who states the obvious. What do they say about you are preaching to the choir. We all are listening to the same thing and you must let us know exactly what it is we are all doing. I always thought it was because my brother finds it difficult to form a complete sentence sometimes. I suppose you have to enter the conversation somehow.
There was a woman called into A J about a week ago and lectured himon how to talk, speak, and basically told him that he was inadiquate as a speaker.
I think english teachers have been so brainwashed more so than everybody else or is it they are too passiv and corrupt in their minds they only see in one dimension.
They never miss the opportunity to correct someone.
Kind of a little hypocrasy here on my part but what the hell.

      • I see structuring a sentence runs in the family…

      • Agree onion, I am not the best on diagraming sentence, make mistakes just like evryone..Sometimes rushiing to get thought out, that do not think about it.. Then throw dyslexia in there.. It’s the meaning of what someone is trying to say, that is important… However, often have been jumped on for gramer here, by these teachers…. Recently was so bad… changed screen name.

  20. Given the state of the prison BUSINESS in America, ANYTHING that phucks up that cash cow will never get anywhere.. It is good business for the states and the federal govt. to keep drugs “illegal” while subsidizing the alcohol and tobacco industries.. Better kill rate in those 2 than …Let’s say… A Firing Squad..

    • Many times, I have tried to start small business… It’s almost impossible..Unless your loaning money, out at high intrest, buying gold, our have found a way, to incorporate.. It’s not going anywhere..You can not get a grant, unless your the classified minority. The minority is now White Americans… However, instead of re-classifying us Minority, they classify us terriorist… Even though we are now the minority, there are no special programs for us.. We are in the Out House and now nothing but, tiolet paper…

      • We conquered this country once, and defended it from being conquered.
        We can conquer it again.

        • Agree, where do we sign, they have already taken away our abuilty to suport family. I HAD TO WORK FOR IRANI, just for a room here in NM.. they do not hire people, they own like four motels, they take stupid people like me who have pucked up.. Give them a room, then work them for the month, chrage you 1200 a month for standard room..I got my act together but, had to do it for a month.. It’s slavery… Other people there, are still there, most are white, they receive no pay… They work for room.. The hours they work are based on 1,200 a month. They get traped… What is sad, this Iranian, got the motels on a UN grant. Something we Americans can’t get… He is subsidised by program, uses stupid Americans to clean it… Would love to get a motel free and use illegals.. Yeah, that is the ticket..However, if we Americans did that, we would face prison time..

        • r a b i d y o u m u s t b e v e r y v e r y v e r y o l d. y o u m u s t b e o n e o f t h o r i g i n a l m u s k e t e e r s. T h a n k y o u f o r y o u r s e r v i c e .

  21. Frank Serpico Rocks!
One of the last true peace officers before the
“changes” at the police acadamies in this nation!

  22. Lets take a look at Portugal’s drug policy. All their drugs are decriminalized.

“In the face of a growing number of deaths and cases of HIV linked to drug abuse, the Portuguese government in 2001 tried a new tack to get a handle on the problem—it decriminalized the use and possession of heroin, cocaine, marijuana, LSD and other illicit street drugs. The theory: focusing on treatment and prevention instead of jailing users would decrease the number of deaths and infections.

Five years later, the number of deaths from street drug overdoses dropped from around 400 to 290 annually, and the number of new HIV cases caused by using dirty needles to inject heroin, cocaine and other illegal substances plummeted from nearly 1,400 in 2000 to about 400 in 2006, according to a report released recently by the Cato Institute, a Washington, D.C, libertarian think tank.

“Now instead of being put into prison, addicts are going to treatment centers and they’re learning how to control their drug usage or getting off drugs entirely,” report author Glenn Greenwald, a former New York State constitutional litigator, said during a press briefing at Cato last week.

Under the Portuguese plan, penalties for people caught dealing and trafficking drugs are unchanged; dealers are still jailed and subjected to fines depending on the crime. But people caught using or possessing small amounts—defined as the amount needed for 10 days of personal use—are brought before what’s known as a “Dissuasion Commission,” an administrative body created by the 2001 law.

Each three-person commission includes at least one lawyer or judge and one health care or social services worker. The panel has the option of recommending treatment, a small fine, or no sanction.

“Drug decriminalization did reach its primary goal in Portugal,” of reducing the health consequences of drug use, he says, “and did not lead to Lisbon becoming a drug tourist destination.”

Walter Kemp, a spokesperson for the United Nations Office on Drugs and Crime, says decriminalization in Portugal “appears to be working.” He adds that his office is putting more emphasis on improving health outcomes, such as reducing needle-borne infections, but that it does not explicitly support decriminalization, “because it smacks of legalization.”

Drug legalization removes all criminal penalties for producing, selling and using drugs; no country has tried it. In contrast, decriminalization, as practiced in Portugal, eliminates jail time for drug users but maintains criminal penalties for dealers. Spain and Italy have also decriminalized personal use of drugs and Mexico’s president has proposed doing the same.”

  23. I think it’s obvious by now that the war on drugs is a farce.
DRUG- The general name of substances used in medicine, sold by the druggist, and compounded by apothercaries and physicians; any substance, vegetable, animal, or mineral, which is used in the composition or preparation of medicines. It is also applied to dyeing materials.
So I guess vegetables, animals, and minerals and dyeing materials need to be illegal? How much more satanic can things get? Just wait and see. A lot more.

    • yep. we ain’t seen nothing yet.

    • They are working on those issue’s… Just a few more years, and they will say that since dirt, is used to grow things, it needs to be regulated as well.. Furthermore, they might want to regulate water too…

        • roaddog6-I have been reading on Infowars, Spiritdaily, Gerald Celente, etc, etc, that the government wants to tax water, even in a person’s backyard, and especially in Texas. How ON EARTH are they going to be able to pull that off, I’d like to know?
