‘Romney policies threat to Americans’

During a campaign speech in New York, Biden also accused Romney of being “out of touch” with the realities facing the country and of ultimately reviving the former US President George W. Bush-era.

Biden said that the US would not go “back to the future” or a foreign policy that would have “America go it alone, shout to the world you’re either with us or against us, lash out first and ask the hard questions later, if at all.”

The vice president further criticized Romney for ignoring US President Barack Obama’s record.

During the past months, Romney has said he would support a military strike on Iran over its nuclear energy program, if elected president.

Earlier this week, Romney won the primary votes in Connecticut, Delaware, New York, Pennsylvania and Rhode Island.

Romney’s chances for nomination by the Republican Party grew higher on April 10 when his main rival, Rick Santorum, announced the suspension of his campaign.

Romney is expected to run against Obama in November.

In the United States, the president is not elected by the citizens directly. American citizens cast their ballots for a slate of the members of the Electoral College. These electors in turn elect the president. The final result is based on adding together the number of the votes in every state.
