WASHINGTON — US foreign policy is indisputably linked to the September 11 attacks that killed nearly 3,000 people a decade ago, Republican presidential candidate Ron Paul said Sunday.

With polls in key states placing him in the top crop of Republican candidates competing to become their party’s nominee to oust Democratic President Barack Obama from the White House, the Texas congressman is facing growing scrutiny over past controversial statements.

Paul, a longtime advocate of less government, reduced taxes and decriminalizing prostitution and drugs, said US intervention abroad was triggering the ire of violent extremists motivated to act because “we don?t like American bombs to be falling on our country.”

“I think there’s an influence,” Paul told CBS television’s “Face the Nation.”

“That’s exactly what the 9/11 Commission said. That’s what the DoD (Department of Defense) has said. That’s also what the CIA has said. That’s what a lot of researchers have said.”

Ron Paul is saying the 9/11-commission report is correct in saying Muslim Arabs did 911 in response to US intervention in their country.

This is wrong. Arab Muslims didn’t do 9/11.

The only way to cause a steel framed building to fall one-floor-after-another in sequence is to sever all the vertical girders on each floor simultaneously, one floor after another, in perfect ascending or descending order. That is: a controlled demolition, using carefully-placed steel-cutting explosive charges, connected to a central timer.
How could cave-dwelling Afghans have gotten inside-access to the building for months, to set it up for such a textbook demolition? And where would they have gotten the expertese and technology from? It takes a team of 12 experts about 3 months to set a building that size up for controlled demolition.
It had to have been done by insiders with inside access. And if they did WTC-7 they did the whole thing.

when the Europeans claim that Jews control their lives it sounds to me like a whore complaining about rough sex. It’s so easy to do without having to admit that they are racist by nature and they don’t have any guilt feeling. Jews at least work for what they want. white people just take things away from people by military means. they are the true parasites. look how much land the white people stole and wiped off the native population in America, New Zealand, Australia, south Africa etc. they continued stealing and robbing India for 200 years. Jews took only a tiny little land in Palestine and didn’t really wipe Palestinians off completely. for that I can forgive the Jews since they need a home as well. I would just beg them to treat Palestinians with more dignity and grant them equal rights. Jews should be allowed to live in any Muslim country they would like. but, white people are like poisonous snakes. they can never be trusted. they are born without a sense of guilt. these small minded crooks have never done anything for humanity.

designed to place the blame on Arab Muslims, so that Americans would see the enemies of the Jewish state as our own enemies, and therefore more gladly fight wars for the Jewish state. The White House first choice to head the Commission was Henry Kissinger(Jewish). Their next and final choice was Phillip Zelikow(Jewish).
Only two individuals on the Commission were allowed to see all of the classified information presented to the Commission, they were Philip Zelikow(Jewish) and Jamie Gorelick[female](Jewish). This is why the Commission ignored the Mossad involvement in 9/11, including :
– the surveillance of the hijackers in Florida and the Dancing Israelis in New Jersey, and
– the white van carrying explosives, driven by Israelis, stopped on the George Washington Bridge by security service officers who suspected they intended to blow up the main crossing between New Jersey and New York.
Philip Zelikow(Jewish), the executive director basically ran the 9/11 Commission and wrote the final report. He wrote the outline of the final report before they even started the investigation.
He was the author of the book: “Pre-Emptive War Doctrine”. He was also a witness. He testified before the Commission because he was part of the “National Security transition team”.
Co-chairmen of the 9/11 commission: Thomas Kean(Gentile) and Lee Hamilton(Gentile), wrote a book in 2006 about the constraints they faced as commissioners titled “Without Precedent: The Inside Story of the 9/11 Commission”, in it they say say “We were set up to fail”.

The shadow government is sustained by people afraid to admit they are being abused by it.
If Ron Paul knows the truth about 9/11 but is afraid to admit it, then he is part of the problem.

If Ron Paul knows knows the truth about 9/11, then he is
• bearing false witness against the innocent to protect the guilty, and
• lying to voters who take him at his word, he is telling them one thing while intending to do another.

Faith is the good intentions of one who bears false witness and lies out of fear, is misplaced.

agreed, he is a politician after all. You can’t swim in a cesspool without getting dirty.
Still, his integrity seems a quantum leap above the rest. Its like a Kalfka novel, bewildering and the hero never survives, at least not as an innocent.
Whilst R Paul may be considered America’s “only hope” or “saviour” by many of you he really isn’t as this article clearly shows. He believes that the “official” story of 9/11 is fact and has NO plans to end the fed, the root cause of America’s financial woes.
He operates within “the system” and his plans and policies merely tinker around the edges of that system as opposed to bringing the radical reforms needed to save America from collapse.
For those mainstream masses who don’t follow (or are even aware of) the alternative media, Paul is still an unknown. The VAST majority haven’t even heard of him let alone consider him to be anything but a fringe candidate.
As it stands, if the elections were held tomorrow Obama would sadly win. Ask yourself why he isn’t campaigning on issues like truth in Government or complete reform of the financial system? He has ample opportunity to expose issues like Govt control by Goldmann Sachs, the role of the Military Industrial Complex or the fraudulent activities of Wall St yet says nothing. He compromises real change and reform in favour of electability. He remains a candidate for the GOP who were responsible for things like 9/11 and massive financial fraud.
If he had any true conviction he would run as an Independent on a ticket of exposing Government lies and corruption and take every opportunity to name names, yet he sadly doesn’t. When he publicly admits 9/11 was committed by members of the former Govt, publicly states that those involved will face prosecution or explains that the Government is actually corrupt and controlled by business and financial interests THEN he may be considered radical or be seen as offering real change.
As it stands he only differs from the other GOP candidates by a small degree.
yup, the knight in white armour was a myth when invented. Its a sad day when I knight leaking bilge water and trailing charmin tissue seems the best bet. They kill the best and buy the rest.
If Rpaul tried to blow the whole lid off I have no doubt he would be dead, and he has already lost his chance to be honest by playing ball as you pointed out above. All I can hope for is that he is attempting a trojan horse manuever, but doubt it.
That was like watching a heavyweight swat a fly!
He’s right, Muslims did drive planes into those buildings and it was due to USA’s unrelenting support for Israel that was the trigger.

The Government Agencies ALLOWED it happen and even covertly HELPED them succeed.
