This is a newly created role. Obradovic was previously the Asia-Pacific director for public sector at Cisco Systems. He was with the company for 12 years.

“My goal is to build a customer-centric team and work with our established partners to enhance our value proposition to our customers to make Samsung Electronics Australia a leading solutions provider for Enterprise and SMB in Australia,” Obradovic said in a statement.

Samsung’s regional enterprise vice-president Craig Gledhill said that the new appointment shows that the vendor is keen to grow its enterprise and small- and medium-sized business (SMB) in Australia.

“We are also working closely with enterprise customers in providing transformational mobile solutions to help meet their demanding business needs,” he said in a statement.
