Its all well and good for everyone to talk about supporting the troops. The real battle cry should be…pay the troops. In a country where irate citizens feel its OK for others to die while they enjoy the illusion of health care. Its unthinkable that the young men and women who put their lives on the line, should have loved ones who do not have adequate health care.
While they fight and die for the rights of greedy CEO’s to stuff their pockets, their families are forced to apply for food stamps.
While they make the ultimate sacrifice lesser patriots advocate assassination of our elected officials.
If this country can afford to pay private company employees six figure salaries, to play soldier; it can afford to give the US military’s fighting men and women a real raise.
If these people are going to die on the way to trying to get a college education, then they can be paid like college graduates.
Most of the private company employees are ex military any way; minus the discipline that is vital to good foreign relations and mission safety.

The administration could have done a greater service to the country by taking those huge tax cuts for the rich and used them to raise the pay for the military; to a respectable level. Maybe there would be less turnover in the country’s fighting force, if they were paid according to the risk they take to keep us all free safe.
We also need a [Sir Tax] on the income all those people who seem to be comfortable with their own health care insurance while ignoring the plight of others. If they have no immediate relatives serving in the military; while Ms. Smith’s son or daughter is being killed or maimed and they sit at home and make, no public options signs, and foam at the mouth about lies they hear from, bought and paid for politicians.
Some one needs to start a campaign to get the troops paid. You want to support the troops, pay them. You don’t want them disrespected, stop making their loved ones have to live off, food stamps.
If CEO’s who sit on their fat ass’s all day can take home billions then surly our fighting men and women, in the services, can get a starting pay of $65,000.00 a year. Bet we won’t have a shortage of man power in the military then.
Until this country treats its fighting force right, by paying them good money…we will never be safe.
- Military Food Stamp Program
Under the National Defense Authorization Act for Fiscal 2001, qualifying servicemembers can receive up to $500 a month with the new family subsistence supplemental allowance (FSSA). The program was designed to help families currently on food stamps.

ROTHSCHILD BANKERS LOOTING PUBLIC
The banks have proven to be some of the most immoral, dare we say “evil,” institutions on the planet. Besides their Ponzi-style Wall Street casino and mortgage/foreclosure fraud, they also profit heavily from wars, Mexican drug gangs, and fleecing the public in myriad ways. Some are finding their actions so horrific that they’d prefer to default on their debts rather than give them another dime. That may be extreme given the consequences; however, we can at least vow not to take on any new bank financing of any kind — mortgages, credit cards, or car loans, etc. Where possible, bank with local credit unions instead of the big banks that make up the Rothschild Cartel. Another powerful action is to start or support a regional competing currency. On the Federal level, we can tell our Congress reps to support Ron Paul’s effort to legalize competing currencies nationwide.
A nation without borders is no nation at all. After decades of misguided policies America has now become a free-for-all. Our leaders betrayed the middle class which is forced to compete with welfare-receiving illegal immigrants who will work for almost anything, just because the standards in their home countries are even lower.
If these policies are not reversed, the future is grim. A poor, dependent and divided population is much easier to rule than a nation of self-confident individuals who can make a living on their own and who share the traditions and values that this country was founded upon.
Ron Paul’s six point plan puts a stop to illegal immigration:
- Physically secure our borders and coastlines. We must do whatever it takes to control entry into our country before we undertake complicated immigration reform proposals.
- Enforce visa rules. Immigration officials must track visa holders and deport anyone who overstays their visa or otherwise violates U.S. law. This is especially important when we recall that a number of 9/11 terrorists had expired visas.
- No amnesty. Estimates suggest that 10 to 20 million people are in our country illegally. That’s a lot of people to reward for breaking our laws.
- No welfare for illegal aliens. Americans have welcomed immigrants who seek opportunity, work hard, and play by the rules. But taxpayers should not pay for illegal immigrants who use hospitals, clinics, schools, roads, and social services.
- End birthright citizenship. As long as illegal immigrants know their children born here will be citizens, the incentive to enter the U.S. illegally will remain strong.
- Pass true immigration reform. The current system is incoherent and unfair. But current reform proposals would allow up to 60 million more immigrants into our country, according to the Heritage Foundation. This is insanity. Legal immigrants from all countries should face the same rules and waiting periods.
The facts on the ground are being created right now. Every day that passes makes it more difficult to reverse the damage that has already been done.
