A TEENAGER has drowned and another has been taken to hospital after a boating accident in Raby Bay, south-east of Brisbane.
The 16-year-old victim, who was a Korean national, and his 15-year-old friend were on a boat ride when they fell into the water.
An ambulance crew was called to the scene at 4.26pm (AEST) where the boys were pulled from the waters between Cleveland and Stradbroke Island.
The 15-year-old, who suffered hypothermia, has been taken to Redland Bay hospital in a stable condition.
Police said their priority was contacting the boys’ families.
