The Attacks on Israelis You Won’t Read About Anywhere Else, June 19-21

Using resources from across Israel, The Algemeiner will regularly publish details of attacks on Israeli civilians and military personnel, which occur on a daily basis, but are unreported in the United States and abroad. This report was compiled with the assistance of Yehudit Tayar, who sits on the Board of Directors for Hatzalah Yehudah and Shomron, a voluntary emergency medical organization with over 500 volunteer doctors, paramedics, and medics who are on call 24/7 to assist Arabs and Israelis in need of urgent medical care.

June 21, 2012

1.  During the night, IDF and security officials gave permission for a group of 1,200 Jews to enter the Tomb of Joseph.  A group of Arabs attacked them with rocks, resulting in the injury of an IDF soldier who was evacuated in a military vehicle to a hospital.

June 20, 2012

1. As of Wednesday over 130 rockets had been fired from Gaza into Israel. In Kibbutz Sufa, as a result of a mortar landing there, a fire broke out, but servicemen succeeded in putting the fire out with no injuries.

June 19, 2012

1. Near the Kalkilia check post an Arab was apprehended by the IDF while carrying 3 pipe bombs.  A bomb squad detonated the bombs.

June 18, 2012

1. A missile launched from Gaza landed west of Sderot in an open area.

2. Molotov cocktails were thrown at Israeli vehicles near Betar Illit.

3. Rock attacks caused damage to Israeli vehicles on the Gush Etzion-Hevron Highway near Bet Umar.

4. 2 Special Police Force officers were injured from rock attacks in the village of Katna.  They were evacuated to Ein Karem Hospital in Jerusalem for treatment.

5. A border policeman was injured from rock attacks near Nebe Zalach.

6. 2 Molotov Cocktails were thrown at an IDF patrol in Abu Dis, in the Jerusalem region.
