The Bible Forbids These 25 Sinful Acts… ‘Christians’ Do It Anyway

cheating-is-a-choice

Are we as humans ignorant to the word of God… or have most people lost their moral compass and totally choose to ignore the Bible? We’re all sinners, we are human. Sin is part of the growing and learning process of life. Most of us gain the knowledge of knowing right from wrong as we mature. ~ Video

We learn through making mistakes, these are life’s lessons. Humans are not perfect, if we were, there would be no lessons to learn or teach our children. There are no rules more perfect than the Words of the Ten Commandments.

Sin happens when we knowingly commit acts against God’s word, we ask for forgiveness, and continue to commit the very same acts over and over again. This is sin. We sinned against God and ourselves.

Example… If the sin ‘works’, why fix it…

There are many fake Christians or self proclaimed ‘prophets’ who know how use the Word of God to manipulate people for personal gain. When these generous individuals are no longer of use, the ‘prophet’ then moves on using the ‘Christian’ label again and again to get what he or she needs or wants. This is no small sin!

Hopefully this list of sins big and small will be enlightening…

#25.  Consulting Psychics

Leviticus 19:31 reads:
“Regard not them that have familiar spirits, neither seek after wizards, to be defiled by them: I am the LORD your God.”

We are to consult the Bible for God’s answers, not familiar spirits or demons who will mislead you while gladly taking your money.

#24.  Women Wearing Sexy Clothing

1 Timothy 2:9 reads:
“I also want the women to dress modestly, with decency and propriety.”

Clothing or lack of clothing says plenty about a woman. Mothers by example, teach your daughters to have self-respect and to dress themselves appropriately and to not be on ‘display’ for others to judge.

#23. Masturbating

1 Corinthians 6:18 reads: “Flee fornication.
Every sin that a man doeth is without the body; but he that committeth
fornication sinneth against his own body.

God planned for a man and woman to be committed and marry, to desire and have sex with only each other, and to complete the family unit by having children.

#22. Watching Porn

Matthew 5:28 reads: “But I say to you that everyone who looks at a woman with lustful intent has already committed adultery with her in his heart.”

Engaging in the act of watching pornography will eventually destroy a husband, a wife, a marriage and a family. Lust for others sexually outside of a committed relationship and marriage is distructive to everyone involved.

TV, movies, videos, magazines and even the government schools your children attend are teaching this deviant behavior is now socially and morally accepted whether single, married or a child.

It’s a grand free-for-all. If a man is sick of being a man, it’s okay. He can go to his day job dressed as a man and ‘go out’ in the evening dressed as a woman, even use the women’s restroom.

We have become a sinful, sick society, with no morals, no values, no concept of right or wrong… ‘if the shoe fits, wear it’ attitude. If others are destroyed because of it, ‘so sad, too bad, get over it’. Children live what they learn.

Pornography… the more you see, the more you need to see.
Children can never unsee what they saw and neither can you.

#21. Wearing ‘Bling’

1 Timothy 2:9 reads: “Likewise, I want women to
adorn themselves with proper clothing, modestly and discreetly, not with
braided hair and gold or pearls or costly garments.”

In biblical times, certain women would wear flashy skin exposing clothes, heavy make-up and adorn themselves in tons of jewelry
to let others know they were prostitutes.

#20.  Eating Pork

Deuteronomy 14:8
– And the swine, because it divideth the hoof, yet cheweth not the cud,
it [is] unclean unto you: ye shall not eat of their flesh, nor touch
their dead carcase.

Pork was not to be eaten as it is a split hoof scavenger animal regarded as unclean. Pigs have no sweat glands, the toxins they injest are retained in the fat throughout the body.

We will not be given a one-way ticket to hell over this one… getting sick will most likely be punishment enough.

#19.  Tearing Your Clothes

Leviticus 10:6 reads: “And Moses said unto
Aaron, and unto Eleazar and unto Ithamar, his sons…

Uncover not your
heads, neither rend your clothes; lest ye die, and lest wrath come upon
all the people, but let your brethren, the whole house of Israel, bewail
the burning which the LORD hath kindled.”

The tearing of clothes should express genuine repentance or an expression to deep mourning or grief.

#18.  Eating Strange Creeping Little animals

Leviticus 11:28–29 reads: “These also shall be
unclean unto you among the creeping things that creep upon the earth;
the weasel, and the mouse, and the tortoise after his kind, and the
ferret, and the chameleon, and the lizard, and the snail, and the mole.”

We are not to eat scavengers of the earth.

#17. Damaging Our Bodies or Skin

Leviticus 19:28 reads: “Ye shall not make any cuttings in your flesh for the dead, nor print any marks upon you: I am the LORD.”

Our bodies are temples we are to avoid the practice cutting or mutilating the flesh in worship and not cause our bodies harm.

#16.  Remarrying After  Divorced

Mark 10:11–12 reads: “Whosoever putteth away his
wife, and marrieth another, committeth adultery: and whosoever marrieth
her that is put away from her husband committeth adultery.”

You’re sins are forgiven after repentance, including divorce, therefore remarrying after repentance is not committing adultery.

God Himself was a divorcee, He served Israel a letter of divorce because of adultery.

Jeremiah 3:8 statesAnd I saw,
when for all the causes whereby backsliding Israel committed adultery I
had put her away, and given her a bill of divorce; yet her treacherous
sister Judah feared not, but went and played the harlot also.

#15.  Gossiping

Leviticus 19:16 reads: “Thou shalt not go up and
down as a talebearer among thy people: neither shalt thou stand against
the blood of thy neighbor; I am the LORD.”

Gossiping is an abomination to the Lord and can be a determent to any society ruining reputations and cause unnecessary strife among the people.

“If you see ‘something’ say something.” ~ Janet Napolitano

Forget it!… If you see ‘something’… SHUT UP!

#14. Over Indulgence

Proverbs 23:2 reads: “. . . And put a knife to your throat if you are given to gluttony.”

Avoid obesity and illness by over indulgence of food.

#13. Women Remain Quiet In Church

1 Corinthians 14:34 reads: “Let your women keep
silence in the churches: for it is not permitted unto them to speak; but
they are commanded to be under obedience as also saith the law.”

This is may be one of the most misinterpreted verses in the Bible. No one is to speak in church, but only to hear words from the Bible.

Neither women or men should chatter in church, but should keep Christ
over their head because of the fallen angels returning to once again
seduce them as in the days of Noah.

#12. Being Gay and ‘Stuff’

Leviticus 18:22 reads: “Thou shalt not lie with mankind, as with womankind: it is abomination.”

God sees this activity as an abomination, He did not create our bodies to perform such
acts, they un-natural and against His natural order of things.

#11.  Playing American Football

Leviticus 11:7–8 reads: “And the pig, because it
parts the hoof and is cloven-footed but does not chew the cud, is
unclean to you. You shall not eat any of their flesh, and you shall not
touch their carcasses; they are unclean to you.”

Pig skin is used to make footballs… you shall not
touch their carcasses, they are unclean to you. See #20.

#10. Premarital Sex

Hebrews 13:4 – Marriage [is] honourable in all, and the bed undefiled: but whoremongers and adulterers God will judge.

In every verse pertaining to premarital sex, the bible states repeatedly
that it is indeed a sin and God wants us to marry, rather than burn with
lust.

Keep your clothes on, save yourself for marriage. God does not condone the ‘try it before you buy it’ theory.

#9. Wearing of Un-Natural Fabrics or Fabric Blends

Leviticus 19:19 reads: “You are to keep My
statutes. You shall not breed together two kinds of your cattle; you
shall not sow your field with two kinds of seed, nor wear a garment upon
you of two kinds of material mixed together.”

Refering to polyester, nylon, synthetic fabric, blends of wool and linen ect.

#8. ‘Pulling Out’

Genesis 38:9 reads: “And Onan knew that the seed
should not be his; and it came to pass, when he went in unto his
brother’s wife, that he spilled it on the ground, lest that he should
give seed to his brother.”

This may be another misinterpreted verse.

In this verse God wanted Onan to impregnate his brother’s
wife to carry on his seed line and when Onan ‘pulled out’ God killed him
for disobeying Him.

This is a strange verse in that we do not understand how this applies now.

#7. Eating Assorted Seafood

Leviticus 10–11 reads: “And all that have not
fins and scales in the seas, and in the rivers, of all that move in the
waters, and of any living thing which is in the waters, they shall be
even an abomination unto you; ye shall not eat of their flesh, but ye
shall have their carcasses in abomination.”

Seafood, all sea-life not having fins or scales are scavengers and are not to be eaten by humans. See food law #18.

#6. Working on Saturday

Exodus 31:14–15 reads: “Ye shall keep the
sabbath therefore; for it is holy unto you: every one that defileth it
shall surely be put to death: for whosoever doeth any work therein, that
soul shall be cut off from among his people.

Six days may work be done;
but in the seventh is the sabbath of rest, holy to the LORD: whosoever
doeth any work in the sabbath day, he shall surely be put to death.”

Honor the Sabbath… you shall not work on Saturday this is the day of rest and to keep holy to the Lord.

#5. Wives Interfering in Husbands’ Fight

Deuteronomy 25:11–12 reads: “When men strive
together one with another, and the wife of the one draweth near for to
deliver her husband out of the hand of him that smiteth him, and putteth
forth her hand, and taketh him by the secrets.”

Interfering in a fair fight of another person… Two against one.

4. Round Haircuts

Leviticus 19:27 reads: “You shall not round off the side-growth of your heads…”

In bibical times tribes wore their hair in ways that so
others would know who they were or where they came from or what religion
they practiced.

This practice is still honored today among a few religions.

#3. Cutting or Trimming Your Beard

Leviticus 19:27 reads: “neither shalt thou mar the corners of thy beard.”

The Nazarenes wore beards and long hair, this verse may
pertain to the belief of beards and keeping their hair long.

#2. Divorcing Your Lying Cheating Spouse

1 Corinthians 7:10–11 reads: “To the married I
give this charge (not I, but the Lord): the wife should not separate
from her husband (but if she does, she should remain unmarried or else
be reconciled to her husband), and the husband should not divorce his
wife.”

Once bonded by marriage, God would have us seek resolve from the Bible during difficult times. Should there be no mending of the marriage, each will not remarry.

Marriages ending because of abuse may be forgiven through repentance.

#1. Eating Cheeseburgers?

Leviticus 3:17 reads: “It shall be a perpetual statute for your generations throughout all your dwellings, that ye eat neither fat nor blood.”

This pertains to food law #20, you may eat beef without pork. Eating of pork is a sin to the body resulting in illness.

There you have it, quotes from the Bible regardless how odd they may seem. True Christians may overlook the pigskin football as being a small sin. Same as with round haircuts and trimming of beards.

Pay attention to those around you. You will know who is truely Christian from the people who are not.

The old saying… ‘You are judged by the company you keep’, will always hold true.

Stay on the road less traveled and keep looking up!

Thanks for reading.
