Three Israeli airstrikes on Gaza overnight

Days of Palestine, Gaza Strip -Israeli fighter jets carried out over Saturday night three airstrikes acros Gaza Strip, leaving one Palestinian civilian wounded.

Warplanes targeted a military base in Jabaliya Refugee Camp in northern Gaza, moderately wounding one, medical sources said.

The Israeli fighters struck an open field in Beit Hanoun, far north of the Strip, and a military site in Al-Zeitoun Neighbourhood east of the Gaza City.

Israeli media reported that a number of rockets were fired from Gaza at an Israeli settlement so that the Israeli military launched the airstrikes.

According to Israeli Police Spokesman Micky Rosenfeld, one of the rockets landed in the city of Sderot, causing damage to an empty bus but no injuries.

Earlier, the Israeli army shot live ammunition at Palestinian farmers near the eastern borders of the Gaza Strip. There were no injuries.

From time to time, the Israeli occupation carries out airstrikes against Palestinian military and civilian targets in Gaza, always claiming they respond to rocket fire. Most times, their claims are not verified.

However, they Israeli forces open fire at Palestinian farmers along the east side of Gaza and at the Palestinian fishermen along the western side, Mediterranean coast, almost every day.

Palestinian human rights centres have always appealed to the international community to put pressure on the Israeli occupation to stop their daily aggressions.
