IRNA – An earthquake measuring 4.4 Richter scale jolted Sunday noon border areas of Kerman and Yazd provinces.
According to the report of seismography center affiliated to Tehran University Geophysics Institute, the tremor occurred at 13:50 hours local time (10:20 hours GMT) and its epicenter was at 56.09 degrees longitude and 31.64 degrees latitude and in the depth of 7 kilometers underground.
The quake occured about 26 kilometers far from Behabad city in Yazd province.
There is no immediate report on damages or casualty.
