The U.S. government is concerned that al-Qaeda and other terrorists may take advantage of the disarray in Libya to acquire unsecured Gaddafi regime weaponry including surface-to-air missiles, President Obama’s counterterrorism adviser said Thursday.
“We have indications that individuals of various stripes are looking to Libya and seeing it as an arms bazaar,” John Brennan told reporters at a breakfast sponsored by the Christian Science Monitor. “We are concerned about the potential for certain weapons to get into the hands of terrorists – AQIM [al-Qaeda in the Islamic Maghreb] or others.”
Brennan said the administration was pressing Libya’s Transitional National Council (TNC) authorities “to take the appropriate steps to secure those weapons stockpiles.”
“We’re continuing to make this a high priority for us,” he continued. “They know – the TNC officials and security officials know that it is important. They see it as a serious problem for themselves too, and they are working aggressively to, again, identify any type of opportunity that the terrorists may take advantage of.”

When was the last time these horrific weapons were used? In the 1980′s against Russia, in their Afghan war. Yet apparently most of the Arabic countries had their share of the US Russian made varieties of SAM’s (Surfice to Air Missiles). What is strange is that since the Russian Afghan war there have been scares reports of these missiles in usage. SAM’s are game changers, not your average defensive weapon but a major piece of an arsenal. Which brings back my question, why did not Gaddafi use them against the NATO air strikes? Why have them if you don’t or can’t use them? Has anyone ever pursued this question?

It doesn’t matter. The NWO wants the gold, the weapons, the money, the control of the country, and after they’ve tortured/interrogated Khaddafi’s henchmen, they’ll get them.

Yeah, but you failed to mention that the Arabs have never used these weapons since the 1980′s. Why? The Arabs have absolutely nothing to do with putting us in this hailstrom, it’s been the Zionist faction within the international banking system that has promoted these wars and led us all down this destructive path.
