‘Twenty protesters from the anti-fracking group ‘Frack Off’ are blockading a drilling rig in Chesterfield this morning.
Demonstrators are blockading Cuadrilla Resource’s drilling rig at the site in Derbyshire. Fracking is the controversial extraction of gas from shale rock.
The group said four activists had locked themselves to the site’s gate in a bid to prevent the rig from moving to its frack site in Lancashire.’
