Wendy Williams talks Kordell, Porsha Stewart divorce: ‘It’s very sad and sloppy’

Wendy Williams is sad to hear about the demise of Kordell and Porsha Stewart‘s marriage, after just one season of “The Real Housewives of Atlanta.” Speaking out Wednesday, March 27, Williams said the way the divorce was handled is just “very sad and very sloppy.”

“You have to use your powers on TV for good and not evil. If it’s going to wreck your life and wreck your home, like it does to a lot of people, then forget about it. Look at Porsha and Kordell. I’m assuming she signed up for this show because she wanted to be on TV. Now she’s blindsided by this divorce. Kordell filed the divorce and she, Porsha, heard about it through the media yesterday. It’s very sad. Very sloppy,” Williams shared on her daytime talk show, “The Wendy Williams Show,” Wednesday.

As previously reported, Kordell Stewart filed for divorce while Porsha thought they were going to work on their marriage.

According to Wendy Williams, Porsha is better off without him and his alleged controlling ways.

“I love you Porsha and I am so team you. Your life is going to be better now that he’s dumped you. If you can understand and make lemonade out of lemons, this man was too controlling and you, my friend, are too vulnerable and naive for a 31-year-old woman. You behave like you’re 21-years-old and that is not practical at 31. Not in 2013,” said Williams.

Hoping for the best, recommending that Porsha sign on for two more seasons of “The Real Housewives of Atlanta,” Williams said that it would be in her best interest to make the most out of this situation.

“Here’s my advice to you. First of all, you don’t need marriage anytime soon. What you need to do is get two years of spousal support, because you have no children with him. She was married, for two years, to Kordell and he’s the one, by what we see (on the show), who told you to be a stay at home wife, with no career or anything. You get your two years of spousal support income, leave the ring, the big house and all that furniture. That’s how you hurt a man, by not wanting any of the crap,” said Williams. “Take your spousal support and you’re going to live within your means. Get a one bedroom apartment in some high rise in Atlanta. And more importantly, call Andy Cohen at Bravo and sign up for two more years of housewives. You’re going to execute like “Porsha In The City.” We want to see you date, we want to see you grow up and we want to see you go to either a therapist or a life coach.”

Do you agree with Wendy Williams? Should Porsha take heed to this advice?

“The Wendy Williams Show” airs weekdays in daytime.
