what in the bloody hell was that video? It was a speech which seemed to be written and delivered by a third grader. First of all, this list which is constantly being sited as the official list of demands was nothing more than a forum post. I recall the list Adbusters put out before the protest even started. It didn’t include any of that communist horse shit. It included breaking up the too big to fail banks, reinstating Glass Steagall, and ending corporate personhood.
I have to correct a few things in speech. Tariffs aren’t necessarily a product of corporatism. Our founders were much tougher on corporations than we are today and they funded their government through tariffs. Also, Alex and others on this site are conflating too distinct problems when they blame the Fed for the financial collapse and not Wall Street. Each played a separate part. The Fed kept interest rates too low, and Wall Street found a brilliant way to make a ton of money off trading debt. The Fed did not invent the derivative, they did play a part in making sure it wasn’t regulated, but they weren’t alone on that front either. I agree that we should end the fed, but that doesn’t solve all our problems. I realize it’s beneficial to boil everything down to one simple solution when trying to get the masses on your side, unfortunately our problems are not that simple.
- Maybe the person that wrote that so-called ‘List of Demands’ was someone acquainted with team Infowars. The same could go for the one in that video as well. Maybe that too was a put-up production.
- Infowars needs Wall Street. For one thing, the owner of IW PP is invested in gold silver and advertises them. Gold silver are wall steet commodities as gold derivatives. Many many of the guests promote gold and silver. So Wall Street and the World Markets are needed. One cant run a businesss and expect to optimize profits ( and certain industries ) if Wall Street is disrupted.

A Newsmax article found that according to IRS documents, the he owned many stocks (six figures worth) in many of the companies that he has demonized in his documentaries. This included a concentration in sectors such as healthcare, defense and energy (which included Halliburton). It was also found that he owned over $100k in corporate bonds (despite stating in his documentaries that basically corporations are ‘evil’). I also find it hypocritical that unions as multinational corporations are protesting against multinational corporations and many of the millionaires and billionaires that pay the brunt of taxes in this country and ultimately – their salaries. Most of these same people have also probably been the same ones conducting flash mobs across the country and organizing mass shoplifting events at various retailers and riots particularly found in the West. I predict that these protesters influence will implode as you have far right anarchists protesting for no government while you have progressives, fascists, Marxists, socialists and communists on the far left protesting for more government. A mix like that isn’t likely to go well and to have Obama and the left wing cheering them on is just another reason to vote them out of office in 2012. Our own government condoning these radicals is completely outrageous (not surprising as Glenn Beck predicted this would happen years ago) but it just goes to show how the left is completely wrong for this country.
