Police Presence in Mexico: Cozumel, Acapulco, Mexico City

Last year my partner (Amanda) and I lived in Mexico for about five months. I wanted share a bit about our experience, particularly as it relates to police employees, because I haven’t seen much similar content online.

There is no perfect place, free from tyranny. Indeed, could there be “good” without “bad”? But things are relative and the more we can move to a world where equal justice is the norm, not special justice for some, the better we’ll all be.

As much as you can, live not according the complex and illogical dictates from strangers in a far-away domed building, but in accord with your own conscience. In doing so, you have the ability to attain something not contingent on your geographical location: internal peace. One mind at a time – that is how we diminish the police state and create a world more conducive to human flourishing.
