Secret Service officials say his name matched with an outstanding warrant for attempted murder in Prince George County, Maryland

This is the dramatic moment a private contractor was arrested at the White House security gates over an outstanding warrant for attempted murder.

Martese Edwards, 29, had arrived for work at the White House on Tuesday when he was taken into custody at the checkpoint in the 1600 block of Pennsylvania Avenue.

Secret Service officials told The Washington Post that Edwards’ name matched with an outstanding warrant for attempted murder in Prince George County, Maryland.
