Awake Goy This is a film made in 1987 by Frédéric Back, based on the short story by French author Jean Giono from 1953. This fictional story tells of a shepherd who single-handedly transformed a desolate valley in the foothills of the alps through his diligent planting of trees. This story should inspire each one of us to work toward the future every single day.
