2015: 1,005 Attacks on Invader Centers

Patriots have carried out more than one thousand attacks of all sorts on invader centers in Germany during 2015, final figures from the Bundeskriminalamt (Federal Criminal Office, BKA) have revealed.

According to BKA chief Holger Münch, the rate of attacks went up fivefold over 2014, where there were only 199 such incidents.

Speaking in an interview with the far left Der Spiegel magazine, Münch said that of the 1005 attacks on invader centers, 901 have a “clear right-wing background”—or, in other words, they have not yet determined the motivation of the remaining attacks.

These figures do not include damage or fires on invader accommodations caused by the invaders themselves, which often clouds statistics of this sort.

The attacks include arson (173 cases) and “other acts of violence.” This is also a dramatic increase on the previous year, Münch said, when there were 28 counts of arson, and six in 2013.

Although controlled media attention has focused on the attacks in the state of Saxony-Anhalt, Münch said that the state with the largest increase in attacks was actually North Rhine-Westphalia (NRW).

In that state, the number of attacks upon invader centers is eight times higher than the previous year, eclipsing both that of Saxony-Anhalt and the national average, he said.

Last year there were 214 attacks, he said, including 28 “cases of serious violent crimes.” He then went on to add that the figures were all underestimates, because “until now, only about a quarter of the acts have been recorded.”

“The dramatic increase in crimes against asylum accommodations gives us great concern,” Münch said, adding that one of the main causes of the attacks was “right-wing propaganda in social media networks.”

NRW Interior Minister Ralf Jäger also blamed the Internet—rather than his own policy of flooding the country with fake refugees—for the increased resistance.

“Investigators have noted the increasing aggressiveness and sharpness in the choice of words” being used on social media networks to express outrage over the invasion.

“This creates the ideological breeding ground for the attackers,” he said. “People dare to do these deeds because they believe that their radical attitudes will be welcomed and approved.”

According to an earlier psychological profile of the typical perpetrator released by the BKA late last year, the demographic of those attacking the invader centers are mainly males aged between 18 and 35-years-old.

Two-thirds of them lived in the place where the attacks were carried out, and the same number had had no previous connection with what the police call the “right-wing scene.”

The Spiegel article ended with a note to readers apologizing for the fact that no comments were being allowed on their report:

“Dear readers,

In contrast to many other articles on SPIEGEL ONLINE, this text does not allow comments. Unfortunately, we receive so many inappropriate, offensive, or legally-questionable comments on refugees that it is not possible to maintain a scrupulous moderation according to the rules of our Netiquette. We ask for your understanding.”
