A major Brisbane tunnel network, touted as Australia’s largest road works, has been opened to the public for a preview.
People will be able to walk through the $4.8 billion Airport Link on Sunday ahead of its opening in coming days.
The tunnel motorway connects with other tunnels and bypasses to provide faster routes between the city, airport and northern suburbs.
Queensland Treasurer Tim Nicholls says it is Australia’s largest road infrastructure.
He will tour the toll road on foot before flying out for an overseas trade mission on Sunday.
