During the 2nd Balkan War (1913), the town of Doxato, just south-east of Drama in Macedonia, was the scene of horrific acts of murder, violence and vandalism, committed by the Bulgarians against Greek civilians. Bulgarian komitatzides, entered the town, occupied and preceded to slaughter 650 Greek civilians, which was roughly 1/3 of the town’s population… Source
