Anders Behring Breivik a self-styled ‘metrosexual’ who used David Beckham as example

“I have not been vain after 2006, and I’ve never been feminine either,”
he complained. “The only function that this powder had was as a cover
to hide acne.”

He also responded angrily to accusations he had a nose job to appear more “Aryan”.

Four of Breivik’s friends, invited to give testimony, all agreed that until
2006, the man who killed 77 people in Oslo and Utoya had been a sociable,
perfectly normal guy. But then things changed: he moved in with his mother,
became reclusive, lost touch with his friends, and got addicted to online
gaming, while his ideology became more extreme.

The girl said she believed that Breivik’s gaming addiction was also to blame.

“The way I understood it is that he had played so much that that was why
everything fell apart.”

Breivik bragged to his friends of his skills at World of Warcraft, claiming
that he was “one of the better players in Europe, or even in the world,”
one friend claimed.

But the extremist, irked by the depiction of his as a depressed loser,
retorted that he had only used World of Warcraft as a “cover” to
hide his real revolutionary activities. “This was a deceit. I gave them
the impression that I had gaming problems,” he claimed. The trial
continues.
