British officialdom is poised to blame social media for riots in London and other cities in the country.

Steve Kavanagh, the deputy assistant commissioner οf the Metropolitan police, ѕаіd that “social media and other methods hаνе bееn used tο organize thеѕе levels οf greed аnd criminality” and added thаt people using social media in widespread vandalism would be arrested.

Following the riots in Tottenham on Saturday, the corporate media focused in on the BlackBerry Messenger (BBM) service the police said was being used to organize the lawlessness. BBM is an instant messenger-style platform that lets BlackBerry users send messages to each other or to groups of people anonymously in real-time. Unlike Twitter, BBM is a closed system not open to the public.

“The choice of BlackBerry and BBM is, in part, a highly practical one: BBM is free and largely anonymous – you don’t need phone credit to use it,” writes Mark Brill for The Future of Mobile and Mobile Marketing. “You can quickly create groups and forward messages anonymously. A trend in BBM is also to use status updates as the conversation itself turning BBM into a kind of Twitter (without the hashtags), speeds up communications further.”

After RIM (Research in Motion), the company behind the popular BlackBerry, said it would cooperate with law enforcement in their effort to track down those responsible for coordinating the attacks, the company’s website was hacked. The following message was posted:

You Will _NOT_ assist the UK Police because if u do innocent members of the public who were at the wrong place at the wrong time and owned a blackberry will get charged for no reason at all, the Police are looking to arrest as many people as possible to save themselves from embarrassment… if you do assist the police by giving them chat logs, gps locations, customer information access to peoples BlackBerryMessengers you will regret it, we have access to your database which includes your employees information; e.g – Addresses, Names, Phone Numbers etc. – now if u assist the police, we _WILL_ make this information public and pass it onto rioters… do you really want a bunch of angry youths on your employees doorsteps? Think about it… and don’t think that the police will protect your employees, the police can’t protect themselves let alone protect others…. if you make the wrong choice your database will be made public, save yourself the embarrassment and make the right choice. don’t be a puppet..

p.s – we do not condone in innocent people being attacked in these riots nor do we condone in small businesses being looted, but we are all for the rioters that are engaging in attacks on the police and government… and before anyone says “the blackberry employees are innocent” no they are not! They are the ones that would be assisting the police

I”m no expert about britiain but in most parts of europe noone uses Blackberry/RIM.

If Blackberry were sharing this data about peaceful protesters, that would be a totally different issue, but this is not the case.

However, now you can’t stand up to the technology the government has. All of this is so transparent. You can see that these riots and protests are designed and provoked by the governments. All I’m saying is that you need to look at the big picture. Look at what is going on around the world, and now in Europe. These are uprisings designed and created by the governments tool of social media. I don’t claim to know it all, I’m just telling you to start connecting the dots yourself. What happened out of the chaos of 9/11? More control and intrusion into privacy. Watch and see what the results of the London riots will be. I predict more control, more police, more intrusion.

Get outside of the box you’re thinking in, and realize that PEACEFUL resistance is exactly what they don’t want. If you force them into action, they can’t hide anymore. If you are the one forcing the action, they can continue to hide while they control you.

No kidding. The people praising violence need to grow the hell up or find a new place to haunt. I’m sick of reading violent garbage regardless of where it comes from.

I am a peace loving man, and I will not stand for people who want to hurt others, regardless of why they think they’re doing it. We’ll NEVER see a peaceful world if we can’t transform ourselves first. We’ll just exchange one violent system with another.

That’s the lessons that history tell. History is an endless cycle of violent systems battling for control. In 1776, we were given a refreshing break from that. The reason why we’ve gone down the wrong road is because we’ve allowed ourselves to become decadent, narcissistic and uneducated. When trying to solve any problem, you have to find it’s root cause and then fix it at that point. In other words, the solution to our problems is to educate ourselves as a population, to strengthen our communities, to take care of each other, and to realize that “owning crap”, while being necessary for a free society, isn’t the point of life- just a perk.

Shame on these people calling for violence. I will not even begin to aknowledge any affiliation with people like that. I will not become evil when faced with evil as that will only leave universal evil in the burning wreckage that used to be civil society.
To answer both points. I’m actually suggesting we break that cycle. cause problem — Don’t react —- No solution. If we interfere with that, we will force them to take off their masks and show us who they really are. Imagine a a rich guy saying in a snobbish tone, “So they won’t play our little game will they? Well, I’ll show them…”

That’s kind of what I’m getting at. Force them to show by not reacting, and that could wake up the rest of the flock.

I don’t blindly believe or follow everything Alex says. I think for myself, but I’m thankful Alex at least promotes independent thought and to not blindly accept what we’re told. The reason he’s alive is probably because that would give more him more credibility if he were killed. Also, there is always somebody willing to step in and take his place. You can’t kill ideas, thoughts, logic, and reasoning.

Could he be a CIA plant and disinfo agent? Maybe. I’ve noticed some strange things when I make connections to the occult, saturn worship, and Alex. It might be because he’s well versed in the occult sciences though, I’m not sure. My instincts tell me he’s trying to help, but I don’t claim to know for sure.

You seem to have anger issues. What exactly do you think this London riot will solve? When all of the smoke clears. . . Well, let’s see. . . if they’re destroying government property. . . they are in effect bilking the taxpayers who will foot the bill to repair everything. Whatever cause (if any) they claim to be doing this for will literally not get off the ground thanks to their actions. ANy time brings it up, the opposition will point at the riots.

Further, you are deligitimizing your grievances because you are literally doing things just as wrong as the people you are angry with. You don’t complain about someone robbing you by going out and mugging the first person on the street that you see. . .

“Adults” are not acting this way because we don’t care. We aren’t acting this way because we have enough life experience to understand how to fight our battles. The government desperately wants you to become violent. They’ve been preparing for your violence for longer than most of us have been on this earth. You want to open up that can of worms, and that’s when the mass death and destruction starts.

Don’t be the “problem” in their problem reaction solution model, because if you do, there WILL BE a massive reaction of outraged people who demand a solution, and it just so happens they’ve got just such a solution reading and waiting in the wings.

If you act violently, you are NOT fighting the system, you are ENABLING IT. You are literally becoming a pawn in their game, a tool of their propaganda. If you act violently, they don’t even have to pull a false flag, as you’ll be providing the chaos for them. There is nothing that the ruling class want more right now than a bunch of rioting violent people. Currently, there is no significant violence in this country, so they have no reason to “crack down”. One further point, the massive covereage of riots all over the world in our press is, in my opinion, trying to condition us that this is the way to solve our problems. It’s almost like they’re advertizing it like a cheeseburger. I don’t want to buy what they’re selling – I much prefer peace and civility, even in the face of hardships.

If people get violent, it’s not going to be a revolution. It’s going to be a civil war. In other words, it’s going to be Americans committing horific acts on Americans, while the ruling class take a vacation in the cayman Islands and watch from a far, laughing and sipping sloe gin fizz’ as we destroy our own country for them.
