Blogger censorship is nothing new. The blogging platform owned by Google has a history of taking out blogs and websites it does not like or that are uncomfortable for the establishment.

Google worked closely with the authoritarian government in China to censor the internet. It’s video platform Youtube continually receives complaints that it removes controversial videos, especially politically controversial videos.

Google’s Youtube has not only dropped Alex Jones and other associated videos numerous times, they have also consistently fudged view count numbers used to judge the popularity of posted videos.

So it came as no surprise when the popular political website Activist Post suddenly disappeared and it turned out that Blogger had pulled the plug. It was eventually restored after a ground swell of complaints and criticism.

It is now a familiar pattern. A site suddenly disappears without explanation and after a couple days of news coverage it reappears. Blogger’s explanation for the Activist Post takedown – technical issues. Google has offered the same explanation after it has restored videos at Youtube.

Google usually backs down if the outrage is vocal and public enough, as it was in the case of the Activist Post takedown. Less popular sites that offend the elite and Google – a documented CIA front company – usually disappear forever.

As many of you already know, this site was taken down by Blogger this past Friday. It came as a shock to us and our loyal readers. Given the controversial topics that we cover, it’s perfectly understandable to speculate that Google removed us as a form of blunt censorship. Indeed, that’s precisely what we thought happened.

We’re eternally grateful to those who made the story of our removal go viral. Regardless of the actual reason Google erased this site, the power of the alternative community was proven this weekend. The incredible support and buzz generated by this story seemed to influence Google to respond quickly, and Activist Post was fully restored Sunday evening.

Here is the exact quote from their engineer:

I’m an engineer on blogger. I’d like to apologise on behalf of the team for the removal of activistpost.com. The removal was caused by an automated process, and we restored the blog as soon as the issue was brought to our attention.

Activist Post was started modestly on Blogger in June 2010 by average people who could no longer stand by quietly while the world descended further into the clutches of tyranny. Because of the unyielding passion and conviction of truth, peace, and liberty activists, and the solidarity of the alternative news community, we quickly exploded beyond anything we could have imagined. Until now, Blogger has served us well.

For the past few months we have discussed moving to an independent platform to avoid this exact scenario. This situation, however debilitating, has created the opportunity for us to do just that. Additionally, we realized that our content has outgrown our template’s ability to organize it properly. Over the next couple of weeks we will roll out our new platform. In the meantime, we’ll continue our work as usual.

We are overwhelmed by the outpouring of support during this shutdown. Many amazing people from around the world in the alternative news community offered us servers and technical support. Our stellar contributors and loyal readers made their voices heard loud and clear that censorship will not be tolerated. We are humbled and more motivated than ever because of your heartfelt support.

Despite the tremendous challenges facing humanity, this situation proved to us that the human spirit, powered by truth and principle, is invincible. We know now, more than ever, that peace, love, and liberty will indeed prevail over the darkness that currently shadows our world. They cannot stop us when we work together, for we are many and they are few.

Did anyone else find it impossible to ‘listen’ to the show this morning (My infowars screen was green…) Believed they’d be shut down…
Look for more of this before net neutrality. The government will use it to justify their takeover. And then they will censor the internet while saying they are protecting the first amendment. It is a very sick Rothschild/Rockefeller joke.

- You must be new. This type of activity is nothing new, and follows the same pattern repeatedly. By the way, theories are theories because they hold only supposition and an educated guess without the factual basis required to elevate it from a ‘theory’. The fact that there are numerous conspiracies, provable and documented, is no theory. I encourage you to actually not look for an opinion from someone uneducated and/or unfamiliar with whatever topic you want to investigate, and invest some time into searching for material yourself regarding ‘conspiracy theories’…you will find that many that you yourself have written off in the past have since been admitted and proven (quietly, mind you) and entered into the public record. There was an article posted a few days ago that had a title something like ’10 conspiracy theories that have been proven fact’ or something similar to that…interesting read, and one of literally thousands of articles, government documents, white papers, memoirs of elitists, etc. etc. etc. that are available for anyone to read any time they like…unfortunately, Truth’s biggest enemy today is an asleep population, willing to believe the grey haired guy on the tv at 6 before they believe their own eyes.

I have a solution for activist post or anyone else planning to start a news site or blog. Use WordPress and manage your own site. It’s not a good idea to depend on third party services only such as Google or Facebook to “host” and “power” your content. You can download the WordPress blogging platform free of charge and install it on your own server very easily. Plus WordPress is a much better platform.
With all the bullshit in and around Denver friday,

In fact, the closest you come if the marketwatch link, a link buried within a link that says “The Washington, D.C.-based Electronic Privacy Information Center has filed a legal request for information on Google Inc.’s reported plans to team with the National Security Agency in analyzing a recent cyber-attack originating in China.

On Thursday, the Washington Post, citing unnamed sources, reported that Google GOOG -1.79% plans to partner with the NSA – the U.S. government’s largest intelligence agency, with a specialty in electronic surveillance – to analyze the cyber-attack.”

Google was cyber attacked by hackers in China. China is America’s enemy. The NSA wants information about China’s hackers for our own national security. Google has ALLEGEDLY, according to the article, cited by “unnamed sources” agreed to work with the NSA on this particular thing. So from that, HOW IN THE WORLD DO YOU CONCLUDE THAT GOOGLE IS A CIA FRONT??? ZERO PROOF!!!! IDIOTS!!! And before you try to say I’m the idiot, don’t bother to try to lure me to the links because I have read every one of them and they prove ABSOLUTELY NOTHING. IT IS A CONSPIRACY THEORY AND NOTHING MORE!

Many are awakening now and realize that they must act if their way of life is to be preserved. Everyone knows that actions speak louder than words. It is now time for action! Unlike talking, more action is needed! If you are willing to take action read on?

The technology now exists that will allow the constituents of each elected official to become that elected official’s ultimate check and balance. How? By giving the constituents the power to participate directly in the governing process alongside their representatives. A literal “People’s Branch” of government. Implementing a “People’s Branch” at each level of government, local, state, national, is a reasonable, non-violent, way to make government more transparent, less corrupt, more accountable, less wasteful, more fair and equitable.

Why is it that even though everyone is for better government a political movement that would ultimately improve government at all levels by neutralizing special interest’s control is yet to be implemented? “The People’s Branch” is a realistic way to regain control of government. There has never been a greater need for the political solution(s) provided by The People’s Branch. But no one is saying it is going to be easy. Yet, neither was the Civil Rights movement or the Women’s Suffrage movement, etc., etc. Politicians fear this political movement because they know that if it succeeds then their power and control will come to an end and the people’s influence upon government will truly begin.

Talk is always going to be cheep. However, if you want improvement in government then you should be willing to take action and get involved in the only political solution that has a chance to truly reform the evils of government in a sustainable way! You, your family and future generations will appreciate the positive changes.
- This would be an excellent idea, a sort of built-in auditing organization of the people to defend their interests. Here is a potential problem which needs to be addressed first thought, I believe.
  
  A.) How are we going to get the corrupt courts and politicians and present crony bureaucrats to be forced to accept it, without violence, which is, I agree, preferable?
  
  B.) How do we watch the watchers sort of speak to see that they are not corrupted by money or blackmail, etc. as far too many of our current government types are.
  
  C.) People are fallible , so checks and balances would need to be instituted for the checks and balances people. My wife and I were one of the handful of original tea party members in a Texas town, we watched as F.E.M.A. , and other government operatives and R.I.N.O. Republicans infiltrated it making it impossible to say or do anything that would get to the heart of the problems of government with a few exceptions.
  
  I do like the idea that you have proposed which is excellent. I would like to know how to impliment it without force, which is going to be tough. Perhaps if those in power perceived that force would ultimately be used if they did not comply then they may want to comply to save their own skin, but otherwise, they’ll just do as they do now, sit and stonewall and continue business as usual. They need a motivation, a wake-up call and impending revolution may be the only way they’d be forced to comply or leave, leaving being the better option for us.

We already know of at least one case where someone falsely boasting as you are doing now is very much in a real prison just for typing at his keyboard.
