BREAKING! Police Lied! Gunned Hostage Down Without Any Warning (GRAPHIC VIDEO)

UPDATE: Thanks to whinny news media outlets who think they have a copyright claim from the public’s video content, the video above was temporarily removed. You can click on the link below from the whinny news source, who’s most likely responsible for this abuse of copyright laws, to see the video of police murder.

Michael Funk was a hostage inside Eagle Nation Cycles on December 5th, 2015. Somehow he was able to escape this captor and exit the building. As I mentioned back in December that’s when Funk ran into another problem. Several police officers were waiting outside and wasted no time in opening fire on the man who had a multi-million dollar lawsuit against them.

According to the Post-Crescent of Appleton:

Police officers gave hostage Michael L. Funk no warning to drop his handgun before they shot and killed him Dec. 5 outside Eagle Nation Cycles, according to video evidence obtained exclusively by USA TODAY NETWORK-Wisconsin.

A prepared statement that was issued by Neenah Police Chief Kevin Wilkinson about 10 hours after the shooting said Funk was shot after he didn’t obey police commands to drop his handgun.

In addition, the criminal complaint against accused hostage-taker Brian T. Flatoff stated Menasha police officer Raymond Berna heard officers yell, “Police, show me your hands” or “Police, drop the gun” before officers shot Funk.

The video, which was recorded by a dashboard camera of a Neenah police car, contradicts those statements.

Wilkinson told The Associated Press that the initial information about Funk ignoring orders was from witness interviews, but that the video appears to show there were no warnings given. Wilkinson also told the AP that officers are not required to give warnings.

The police don’t have to give warnings before shooting people?

Maybe that’s the case if they were being fired upon or in ACTUAL danger. That is not the case with Funk. As seen in the video after Funk exited the building he pulled his own firearm and returned his attention to the building; as that’s where the treat was.

That’s when atleast two unidentified police officers opened fire on him without any regard for justice or if they were engaging the right man. In fact, as you can also see in the video, the officers shot directly towards another squad car (which was empty but that could not be said for all the buildings around it).

This is a senseless act by police especially when you add in how insistent the police were about Funk refusing to drop his weapon after multiple request.

We can see now that was all a lie and one can’t help but wonder if police knew exactly what they were doing when they shot Funk and left him in the alley without medical attention for 25 mins. They wanted him dead.

After all, he is part of a $50 million dollar lawsuit after the same police targeted the bike shop for drug sales before. Accusations that were false and trump up by police in a effort by the city to regain the property the bike shop is on.

Of course the officers are on paid leave and have been since the shooting with no word yet on whether criminal charges will be issued.

Stay tuned for more updates.
