Choosing Tyranny

I spoke to a guy the other day who was half-awake to this agenda. Well, he knew at least that we had a tyrannical Orwellian government. He told me he’s been metal detecting for decades, since metal detectors first started becoming popular. And the other day a jobsworth official from his local council started taking photos of him whilst he was metal detecting. Then this council official threatened him that if he didn’t obtain steel-toe-capped boots within a time frame, that he would have a penalty and lose his licence to carry out metal detecting – effectively taking away the man’s innocent pass time.

Oh boy, when I heard this. Sometimes it’s the trivial things that really needle you.

I can just imagine this jobsworth in his fifties still living with his dominant mother. I can imagine him upstairs in his bedroom proudly parading up and down in front of the mirror in his council uniform. With his mum calling up to him “Jonathan, Jonathan – your dinner’s on the table” “OK mum … be down in a minute.”

Firstly what on earth would be the benefits for somebody who is METAL detecting wearing METAL shoes?? And why does he need them anyway? What dick in a think tank came up with this one? What is their possible logic or reasoning for this new ‘law’ (which is not a law, it’s just more bs legal/legislation)? These lawmakers need to be mental-detected.

And of course the next question is, what is next? Ok, so this guy begrudgingly complies – like many of us do. Then what – he’ll then need a high-visibility jacket I suppose? Then what, a hard hat? He’ll eventually have to do a health and safety course, run by the local council, which he’ll have to pay for. I’m not joking with these suggestions. I’m sure this is planned down the line. And much worse. We’ll all have to do health and safety courses just to do DIY around the house as well as wear all the health n safety clobber. We’ll need certificates to change a fuk’n light bulb.

I know in the bigger scheme of things, this post is ridiculously trivial. Or is it? Does it not represent the bigger picture – of our levels of conformity to ALL of this insanity? Where is the cut off point? Where is our line in the sand? How much more are we collectively going to allow of this tyranny?

The obvious thing is for this isolated metal detector guy to say “Oh well, I’ll put up with this one inconvenience, but the next ridiculous law – then I’ll resist.” But the reality is this line in the sand is always being put back. Next time will never happen. It’ll just be more and more and more insanity that we’ll incrementally tolerate. More Orwellian tyranny.

And of course this half-awake guy seems to think it’s just the local council ripping people off. If it was just that innocent, it wouldn’t be half as bad. But those of us who know what’s going on, are aware that it’s far deeper and far more pernicious than that. It’s about totally crippling us through fear – therefore having total control over our mind and spirit. This force (or entities) literally is feeding off of our fear energy and ultimately wants our souls.

We can complain all we want – but it is ultimately all about choice. We either passively and incrementally chose tyranny through buckling to fear, or we chose freedom.
