TUBAS, (PIC)– A human rights center warned of a serious deterioration in the health condition of prisoner Abdul Salam Abdul Rahim Bani Ouda from Tammun town in Tubas, who was sentenced to 30 years, amid a deliberate neglect to his treatment by the Israeli Prison Service.

Center for the Defense of Liberties and Civil Rights (Hurryyat) pointed out that prisoner Bani Ouda, 34, had been previously transferred to Afula Hospital following a severe health crisis during which he lost consciousness and he underwent several medical examinations. Yet the doctors were not able to diagnose his illness.

It also stated that Bani Ouda’s health crisis exacerbated after his arrest four years ago during which he suffered shortness of breath which reaches the point of suffocation and the inability to move or speak.

The center demanded the immediate release of prisoner Abdul Salam and held the Israeli occupation authorities fully responsible for consequences of his health deterioration.
