JOHNNY Depp may team up with Meryl Streep in a Disney musical.
Depp is in talks to appear in the film adaptation of the Broadway musical, Into the Woods, The Hollywood Reporter has confirmed.
Depp, 49, would play a hungry and sexy variation of the fairy tale wolf character.
Meanwhile Streep, 63, will play the role of a vain and charismatic witch.
Into the Woods is a mashup of classic fairy tales. The plot involves a childless baker and his wife, who attempt to lift a family curse by journeying into the woods to confront the witch that put the spell on them.
Along the way, they encounter a group of characters including Rapunzel, Cinderella and Little Red Riding Hood.
The film is set to be directed by Rob Marshall, who directed the fourth Pirates of the Caribbean movie.
