Feds analyze strange glitches and failures in creepy alert system test

Federal government officials have begun pouring over data from Wednesday’s Emergency Alert System test, in an effort to discover what went wrong in many areas of the country and how complete control of the nation’s airwaves can be achieved.
During the thirty second test, many cable and broadcast television viewers saw only a blank screen. Radio stations are said to have experienced dead air, while DirectTV customers bizarrely heard Lady Gaga’s “Paparazzi” playing in the background. Comcast subscribers reported that their TVs switched to the QVC home shopping network automatically.

Some providers and viewers who reported seeing the government message said that the audio from the Federal Communications Commission and the Federal Emergency Management Agency was muffled and indecipherable.
“The tones were heard but the audio provided during the test by the federal government was very difficult to understand due to ambient noise from their system,” said Patti Smith, KVUE-TV’s president and general manager.
West Virginia Homeland Security Director Jimmy Gianato said all radio and television stations in the state were able to successfully rebroadcast the test signal, but “Depending on what kind of station you heard it on you either heard static or the message was garbled.”
One county commission official in the state added “My 6-year-old grandson could have done a better job with a string and a can…The audio was low, and the voice was almost unintelligible.”

Another official was quoted as saying, ” The Test was a huge success. If we had not run the test on November 9th we would have not known that it was broken.”
The Denver Post reported that at “Denver’s KMGH-Channel 7, the test’s warning failed to connect, then muted the channel’s audio for more than two hours. At KWGN-Channel 2 and KDVR-Channel 31, viewers who use antennas had a 2 1/2-minute delay before the start of the noon test.”
In an official joint statement, FEMA, DHS and FCC officials noted:
“The Nationwide EAS Test served the purpose for which it was intended – to identify gaps and generate a comprehensive set of data to help strengthen our ability to communicate during real emergencies.”
“Based on preliminary data, media outlets in large portions of the country successfully received the test message, but it wasn’t received by some viewers or listeners,” they said. “We are currently in the process of collecting and analyzing data, and will reach a conclusion when that process is complete.”
Over 30,000 broadcast television, radio, satellite and cable providers took part in the exercise. Each provider now has 45 days to report their experiences to the Federal government.
Federal officials plan to spend the next month and a half collecting feedback before they formulate plans to “improve” the system.
Officials noted that the data will be used to identify where the system works and where it doesn’t, and what improvements need to be made going forward.

Concerns about the EAS alert were encapsulated by radio host Glenn Beck when he questioned why the government had chosen to conduct the test on a Wednesday afternoon in the middle of a work day, “when the whole world is in revolution.”
Beck warned that the first of its kind test gave the government the pretext to take over all civilian communication outlets under the guise of a national emergency.
“If the state wants to take control…they can just take it and there is nothing I can do about it,” Beck stated, adding that the process “seizes control of the broadcast frequency.”
As Alex Jones documents below, the EAS test is part of the federal government’s unfolding agenda to build an infrastructure that will allow all communications to be seized by authorities in a time of declared national emergency.

system is so complex, and the chain is only as strong as its
weakest link. I think the NSA has an IPod somewhere in
Kansas multiplexed to a Cray that needs a new battery…

The way things normally work in the broadcast industry, the channels with the highest ratings get the most reliable connections. I’d imagine the EAS gets the twisted copper cables wrapped in bakelite that were originally installed in the 1900′s.
Be fair, the EAS can be used for other purposes like alerting people to blizzards, snow-storms and tornado alerts. Having a system in place isn’t such a bad idea, it’s going to be the use of such a system to spread fear over terrorism threat levels.

As a taxpayer I am sooooooo impressed with the, ahem, results of this test to attempt to take over the airways.
The federal government and in particular Homeland Security should continue to hire and employ their engineering and technical personnel for projects like this, based on color, gender and sexual orientation instead of technical education, experience and competency (white guys). It is fitting that affirmative action should be the primary reason for these asinine, New World Order attempts to violate the 1st Amendment and enslave the rest of us.
Hey assholes at Homeland Security, listen up! Only white guys have the technical abilities to do the kind of evil shit you are planning to do to us. As a result of this slight regarding employment policies that excludes straight, white, technically competent males, the unemployed white guys are going (if they haven’t already) to do to you, what you are planning to do to us. I think a number of clandestine hackers have already proven their capabilities in making that point.

I worked at a defense contractor in San Diego recently. I had an Iranian on one side and a tech from China working on the other. Our labs are undoubtedly compromised due to our political correctness. However, out of 1200 employees there were only 5-6 blacks. The lab was heavily saturated with asians. That lab was a magnet for espinoge. But what do I know? I just worked there.
Without Whites, we have had to invite people from hostile countries into our secret labs to make up for the brain drain. Another result of our ridiculous policies.

75 % of the unemployed are white males. I spent a decade as a corporate recruiter in the hi tech fields back in the late seventies early eighties and watched the fed and state governments slowly but deliberately eliminate white males from the workforce and replace them with females, minorities, religious and all other manner of “Protected Classes” of employees other than white males.
It is also a fact that the great majority (90% or more) of engineers in the electrical/electronic, hardware software development engineering fields, were/are US white males. Chances are the Asians and Middle Eastern co-workers were working here under the H-1B visa program that Congress expands every year while no less than 15-20% of American, white male engineers cannot find work. There are even law firms that specialize in advising employers on how to avoid hiring American engineering employees in favor of the foreigners under H-1B visas that work cheaper and obviously do not get the same benefits.
The culprits behind this outrage and illegal discrimination against whites are no less than our elitist do=gooder NGOs or philanthropic organizations like the Rockefeller Foundation,The Carnegie Foundation for world piece the Ford Foundation and a host of other well heeled World do-gooder Foundations that have plenty of cash as a result of the major corporations funding them to bribe Congress and the White house. They in turn pass more laws fucking all the white guys here and bringing in more and more H-1B foreigners and of course all the illegally employed immigrants to take millions of skilled labor and technical jobs away from the rest of the white male Americans.
This a war against White, Christian, heterosexual, male heads of households by the elitists that have gotten a stranglehold on our country and our lives. The women to them are useful tools to be manipulated as Marx and Engles described in the Communist Manifesto.
They know not what they do, but the result has been to destroy the nuclear family and turn a generation or more of our kids into thoroughly confused and frustrated children and young adults. Drugging them with Ritalin or other powerful mind altering drugs is the elitist’s answer to them fucking our kid’s minds and lives up.

This is really scary. I hope they get the bugs worked out soon. Just think if we had this system operational during Katrina we would have gotten life saving messages like –

glad it failed, but the pricks will eventually get it working unfortunately. Have heard rumors there was 3rd party intervention, but have found no real evidence as of yet.

For those who remember this, you also realize that there is something else going on here. The “old” system worked just fine. With all the “new” technology, we would expect a much better “test’ than what this failure was all about.
The “real test” was the government watching to see how we all responded to this bullshit.

I’d rather feel unsafe from the supposed terrorists than safe with this government.
I live in WV and they did a test on Monday the 7th at 1000 with the new EAS screen for 30 seconds and then on Wednesday the 9th I waited to see what happens and nothing happened. Then on Thursday the 10, yesterday they did another test and it then showed up fr about 30 seconds but they did a pretest that worked but somehow failed on the actual test. Not sure what that means but also funny it’s one of the few states they mention.
I should call up West Virginia Homeland Security Director Jimmy Gianato’s office and ask when do we get the street lights with cameras and little helicopters with shotguns? I’d guess way after the rest of you do. Many in my state would destroy them for entertainment.
Who knows maybe the next time we hear that sound it night be the sound for “trying” to round us up for the fema camps.

Word is that the secret test was actually a hypnotic tone set at a special frequency that when heard shuts the brain down and causes forgetfullness, amnesia, and in some cases Down’s Syndrome.
