A man is in hospital after being shot in the abdomen and hand on the NSW central coast early today, police say.
Police are appealing for information about the attack, which occurred at the man’s home in Arcadia Vale, near Lake Macquarie.
A group of men forced their way into the home in Alexander Parade about 12.30am and shot the 28-year-old man, police said.
The man sustained gunshot wounds to the left side of his abdomen and his hand, police said. He was taken to John Hunter Hospital, where he is in a stable condition.
Police said a search of the area had failed to find the gunmen.
