India inflation to zoom on diesel price hike by Rs 5 per litre
Commodity Online – India’s inflation rate is set to climb up on announcement of Rs 5 per litre hike in diesel prices on Thursday night. India’s inflation rate expected to rise to near 7% in August may climb further as rise in diesel prices will further push prices of essential commodities across the board, analysts said. The government has spared petrol and kerosene from price hike. But capped the number of subsidized cooking gas cylinder to six per household a year, decisions that will rake in an additional Rs 20,300 crore to the oil companies. Read Article
