On the Thursday edition of Infowars Nightly News, Alex talks with Mike Adams of Natural News about the dangers of GMO and the attempt by the ATF to penalize gun dealers for selling firearms to medical marijuana patients.

Alex also talks about the efforts by local and state governments to control gardens and a Wisconsin judge who recently ruled that citizens do not have an absolute right to determine what they consume.

He also covers the journalist arrested in Lower Manhattan during the Occupy Wall Street protests and the threat it poses to the First Amendment and journalism.

Alex examines the FBI entrapment case against a Massachusetts man who supposedly plotted to fly explosives-packed model planes into the Pentagon and U.S. Capitol.

Finally, Dr. Paul Connett talks with Alex about the deleterious effects of fluoride on the body. Connett will also talk with Alex tomorrow about the numerous victories in the ongoing war against the poisoning of the American people with the industrial toxin.

  1. Judge needs a super-mega ass-whipping.

  2. To Alex and Staff,

    Suggestion:

It would be great if there was a permanent, VERY noticable rectangle on your home page where people could go to post only protest/movement ideas. It needs to be separate from the reporting area (perhaps right next to it) You guys do such a great job of reporting what’s happening globally, and many individuals write posts with great ideas for peaceful protests in response to your articles. Understandably, these articles need to be fluid and get moved into archives so new articles can come in. But these great ideas for protests get moved with them, and they don’t get a chance to build up any momentum. We may have lost some really good solutions this way, and solutions are why we’re all doing this… its what this is all about right? There are so many of your listeners that want to get a good protest idea to the masses, or wish they could take part in something that is going on currently, but don’t know where to start. So I’m requesting a permanent location on the home page for ONLY protest ideas to be posted, where anyone can go, at any time of day and post their idea or look for an idea they can take part in, or use a posted idea that they can develop in their own communities. Any one care to second my request?

    Your fellow human being

    Leynna
    Peace

    • I think that is a great idea Leynna. Your passion is a gift, lets hope others feel the same.

    • Leynna, I think ur on 2 somethin, sounds like a great idea, but who has got a good programmer with extra time is gonna probably b the problem.

    • There are many little things each of us can do as activists. If you bank with Bank of America, or any big bank, you could withdraw your money. They’re not giving anyone jack for interest, so what’s the point of leaving money with a big bank that’s just going to use the fractional reserve system to lend out ten dollars for every dollar you deposit with them, and use the cash cow for their bonuses. You could put the money under your mattress or put it in a small town bank. Also, rather than use ATMs and pay the $2-$4 fee each time, one could go into the bank and withdraw enough cash to keep one going for however long one needs the money. The banks are making billions just from our ATM withdrawals. Also, rather than use credit or debit cards when you shop, use cash. The banks don’t get a percentage on the sale and your purchased item, timestamp, location etc are not recorded in your credit card files. You don’t need thousands of screaming people at one place to be an activist. Some of these things I mentioned are pretty simple for anyone to do, and you won’t get tear gassed or billy clubbed. If a few people reading this pull out a total of $1000, that equals about $10,000 of fractional reserve money that the banks cannot lend out. With all the chaos in the financial industry I don’t really have much faith in keeping my money in the banks. Sure, it’s FDIC insured but who wants the hassle if there is a banking holiday or some new restrictions instituted on withdrawal amounts.

  3. The system doesn’t serve your interest because it is too busy serving special interest. Do you care? Wake up to these facts and realize that you must act if you want to go beyond the status quoi. There are those that are still asleep and convinced in their beliefs that modern times don’t require a more reasonable and fitting form of control over government. They believe that the system for what may have worked for the government over a hundred years ago can’t be improved upon. They are wrong! It is inherently systemic in the process for government to be easily, continually and totally gamed by special interest. Yet, this can be changed and improved but it must be done systematically if the improvements are to last and not be subverted again and again by special interest! Actions speak louder than words. It is now time for action! If you are willing to take action read on?

Presently, elected officials votes reflect at least one of three possibilities: their interest, some other (special) interest or the interest of their constituents. The problem comes when elected officials don’t reflect the interest of the majority of their constituents with their votes. Yet, most elected officials are just smart enough to get elected while saying they will vote for their constituents interest. Well, most people no longer trust their words on this.

Isn’t it time that you participate directly in government concerning your own interest. No, not as a politician, but as a constituent of your elected officials. If you were to participate directly in government in this capacity you might find that yours and most other people’s interest are the same most of the time. Together, in this capacity you might find that great positive changes can be accomplished.

There is a modern-day equivalent of the movement that added the Bill of Rights to the Constitution. It is a political movement that will make local, state and national government, more transparent, less corrupt, more accountable, less wasteful, more fair and just. That political movement is “The People’s Branch” at ThePeoplesBranch(dot)org. The People’s Branch is a realistic, reasonable and non-violent, way for the people to regain control of government from special interest.

The People’s Branch is working to create an additional check and balance upon each elected official by giving their constituents the power to directly participate in the governing process alongside their elected officials. It works like this. Presently, elected officials exercise their vote regardless of their constituent’s interests. However, with The People’s Branch, the change comes when legislation is finished and the elected officials have voted. i.e. The job to implement and start legislation remains with elected officials. Presently, elected officials see the need for or are persuaded (by their constituents or some other (special) interest) to create legislation regarding some matter. Then the other elected officials either see the need or are persuaded (by their constituents or some other (special) interest) to vote one way or another on that legislation. Whither or not any particular legislation serves some constituents interest or some other (special) interest is always debatable.

More to the point, with The People’s Branch each elected official’s vote concerning a legislative matter may remain the same or be changed by a majority vote by their constituents. Constituent voting is voluntary and may be exercised by electronic means from home or office. Constituents only vote on their own elected official’s vote. Constituents may only vote to approve or disapprove said officials vote. Only when the majority vote of the constituents approve their elected official’s vote does their vote remain unchanged. Otherwise, if the majority vote of said constituents disapprove the elected official’s vote then said official’s vote is altered to reflect the position of the majority of the constituents. In this way, the constituents are the ultimate check and balance for their own elected officials.

The technology now exists that can implement this process. Implementing a “People’s Branch” at each level of government, local, state and national, will virtually guarantee a government that is more transparent, less corrupt, more accountable, less wasteful, more fair and equitable. Politicians fear this political movement because they know that if it succeeds then their power and control will come to an end and the people’s influence upon government will truly begin.

There has never been a greater need for the political solution(s) provided by The People’s Branch. But no one is saying it is going to be easy. Yet, neither was the Civil Rights movement or the Women’s Suffrage movement, etc., etc. So, why is it that even though everyone is for better government, a political movement that would ultimately improve government at all levels by neutralizing special interest’s control is yet to be implemented? It hasn’t happened yet because you haven’t made it happen. When things get bad enough you will be willing to make it happen then. Why wait and go through that pain when the needed changes can be done now. Why not save yourself and a lot of people a lot of pan and hardship?

Again, take action and get involved with the most likely political solution that has a chance to truly reform the evils of government in a sustainable way! You can help make this political movement a service to everyone. Start a petition drive. You, your family and future generations will be grateful for the positive changes.

  4. This site is controlled opposistion.

  5. A piece about Strauss – Kahn facing his accuser.

In part – from The Boston Globe

    ” Police hear Strauss-Kahn, French accuser ”

” In July, Banon, 32, filed a criminal complaint of attempted rape against Strauss-Kahn, 62, after she said he tried to assault her during an interview in 2003 for a book she was writing. Banon said Strauss-Kahn had thrown her to the ground, tried to undress her, and put his hand in her underwear.

Before filing her complaint, Banon said she had been advised not to press charges by her mother, a prominent member of the Socialist Party, as is Strauss-Kahn. She said she changed her mind after his arrest in New York,”

    • Well, does anyone else remember that he also presented a ‘threat’ to “Sarkozy”(? sp?!) And I believe I may have read the coverage here at the time… Appeared Strauss-Kahn ‘might’ be “Head of IMF”…

Not sure what this post has to do with ‘food freedom’ and gardens and flouride… Oh – Journalist arrested?!

  6. I read a book years ago that troubled me alot! this book was called the Bell Curve. I was wondering if the Iq’s of those disscussed in this book corelates in some way with the amount of flouride in the water supply of the various cultures that were studied. I would love for someone to do this study. This book implies that IQ’s can be predicted according to ones race using statistical analysis. I believe that this book was an attempt to instigate anomosity between cultures. And I can just bet that the lower IQ’s refered to in this Bell Curve is more related to the regions that floridated the drinking water of those studied. Please ask Dr Connett if he has an opinon on this!

    • Oh my… Was that written a LONG time ago? If so, as in the late 60′s, I’ve read it…or excerpts of it. Oh my – is that taking me back… Was fortunate to have an incredible Professor in Grad School – at a Med School in the deep south. He was Austrian, a classical pianist, had credentials in MY profession, AND was Head of the Dept of Otolaryngology…was an amazing experience to be ‘taught’ by this brilliant man – who wrote “The Book” in Speech and Language at that point in time…in conjunction with someone from Switzerland. (Smuffled the chapters across the Borders during the – what WAS – the Big War.)

BUT I digress… the Doctor said there was a distinction between “Nature vs Nurture”, and that We Americans had, in our Educational System, embraced “Nurture” whereas the Europeans believed that “Nature” held the key.

Oh my – so many memories you’ve stirred. Only TWO of us in this grad class, and he stood behind a Lectern in a huge Lecture Hall while the two of us sat side by side on the front row.

Oh, how many questions I would have now… He was very open with me; I think he’d have answered honestly…

  7. Once again you have the subtlety of Stampy.
The axiomatic response to “a clever comeback“?
Did you think it would go “by the boards”.
    THINK AGAIN.
    You profoundly disappoint me.
When you have a worthy “riposte”, then, we will “communicate”.
… and speaking of “communicating”, look at your “Co-starring” featured guests when you interrupt them.
    (you started this)

  8. This country is NOW dead. Leave the country or fight like your individual freedom depended on it. No other options.

  9. Check out these filters I linked to my name, they remove radiation, fluoride and various other modern contaminants. Good to have in times like these.

    • But with some of my limited research, nothing ‘removes Flouride” except the Distillation Process… And THAT production method takes a long time…produces little distilled water…and will (if not already) be expensive in terms of electricity… ???

      • Strange message I got just now – and my reply didn’t post…

I’d said my limited research showed that nothing completely removes flouide except the distillation process. And that process is slow, produces little treated – well, UNtreated water – and will eventually be (if not now) expensive due to electricity costs… ???

  10. This judge needs a kick in the balls! Then he should be force fed dog poop!
And whack him on the head with his own gavel!

    • His robes would deflect the kick. No, I think this calls for something special.

      Reservoir Dogs, chair- gas can.

  11. keep up the great work Alex

the nightly news is shaping up

    • Agree! Was well-presented and ‘chock’ full of important info on a variety of subjects… Is sometimes difficult for me to even visit with someone who is not in this ‘loop’… Seems as though they’d rather NOT have the ‘INFO’… and I have to really work on holding back.

  12. Maybe they’re afraid that if you put guns into the hands of pot heads they’ll be out robbing all of the convenience stores of their soda pop, Cheetos,Twinkey’s and candy bars because there’s nothing on earth more dangerous than an armed man with the munchies.

  13. Available upon request: official, original, un-doctored BTS .zip files showing the 4 9-11 “hijacked” planes either did not exist or were used for other purposes this day; therefore, the “official” story crumbles. Send request to edmail404 at gmail dot com and then get them out to everyone, everywhere. Thanks. “V” for Victory!

  14. Penalize gun dealers for selling arms to marijuana medical patients ?!?

What is the rational behind that big idea ?!?

Why not penalize for selling arms to someone with athlete’s foot , or a
tendency for baldness , or color blindness , or flatulence ?!?

P.S. Very odd and arbitrary cherry pickin ‘ !!!

    • How about arresting O’bomb-ya and Eric Holder for selling weapons to Mexican drug gangs? They did that and got caught doing it, but nobody in CONgress did a damn thing about it.

But whoa – the Feds have to arrest and prosecute people that sell raw foods and threaten fire arms dealers that might sell guns to medical mary-jane users.

“killing ants with sledgehammers while elephants fall through the cracks.”

      • Don’t mention it …

        P.S. It’s gone critical mess …

  15. I pay to have this junk removed, and I pay to have it put in! Go figure. We need some change we can believe in! I betchya our tax money is even going to pay for the Washington monument’s repairs. Some people still think they have a retirement 401K, jez how funny.
