Iran crushes mock enemy in E-war

During the second stage of the tactical exercise, air defense units stationed in the operations area successfully countered various mock enemy attacks in the electronic warfare field, Deputy Commander of the Iranian Army’s Khatam al-Anbiya Air Defense Base Brigadier General Shahrokh Shahram told IRNA on Monday.

He added that the units succeeded in maintaining the radar network of the area within the framework of sustainable operation.

The Army’s air defense units utilized optical fiber systems and carried out innovative measures to counter the mock enemy’s electronic war, the commander emphasized.

Iran’s Khatam al-Anbiya Air Defense Base began the three-day tactical exercise in the country’s northwest on Sunday.

The exercise is a response to the enemy’s psychological warfare and is aimed at neutralizing the regional media’s propaganda campaign against Iran, the Iranian Army has said.

In recent years, Iran has made great achievements in the defense sector and gained self-sufficiency in essential military hardware and defense systems.

Last week, the Islamic Revolution Guards Corps (IRGC) test fired domestically-produced missiles during a three-day military drill codenamed the Great Prophet 7.

The tested missiles included Shahab (Meteor) 1, 2, 3, Khalij Fars (Persian Gulf), Tondar (Lightning), Fateh (Victor) and Zelzal (Quake) as well as Qiam (Uprising).

Iran has repeatedly stated that its military might poses no threat to other countries, reiterating that its defense doctrine is based on deterrence.
