Iraq’s ties with Leader of Islamic Revolution ‘impervious’

“Those who think they can dampen our relations with the Leader of the Islamic Republic of Iran are daydreaming,” reiterated Seyyed Ammar al-Hakim, the Head of the Iraqi National Alliance (INA), on Thursday.

The Iraqi politician made the remark in an interview touching upon the efforts staged by some groups to derail the relationships between the leaders of Iran and Iraq.

“Iran is our strategic depth,” articulated the Iraqi. “We need the advice and auspices of Imam Khamenei for reconstructing Iraq.”

Al-Hakim offered gratitude to Ayatollah Khamenei’s speciall attention to Iraq and Iraqi development in the last 40 years.

“Iraq is capable of repairing the relations between Iran and Saudi Arabia because it enjoys the geographical location between Iran and Saudi Arabia,” said Mr. Hakim touching upon the rift between Tehran and Riyadh.
