IRGC to hold missile drill: Cmdr.

The Great Prophet 7 military drill is scheduled to start on Monday and will run for three days, Commander of Iran’s IRGC Aerospace Division Brigadier General Amir-Ali Hajizadeh said Sunday.

Hajizadeh said long-, medium-, and short-range missiles stationed in various locations across the country will target “simulations of the transregional forces’ airbases” in the northern Semnan Desert.

“By firing missiles into these simulated bases, our commanders will assess the precision and the effectiveness of the warheads installed on the missiles,” he said.

The IRGC commander said the message that the Great Prophet 7 military drill carries for the “regional and transregional countries seeking adventurism is that the Islamic Republic is determined to resist their bullying and will give a crushing and decisive response to any potential act of mischief.”

“In case of any potential incident, Iran’s surface-to-surface missiles will descend upon them like bolts of thunder,” he stressed.

Hajizadeh said IRGC fighter jets and unmanned bombers will bombard predetermined targets on the final day of the exercise.
