Israeli bulldozers demolish homes in West Bank

Days of Palestine, West Bank -Israeli occupation bulldozers razed on Monday morning seven Palestinian structures, including three homes in Om al-Rashash, in West Bank city of Nablus.

Days of Palestine reporter said that 19 Palestinian citizens are now homeless after their houses were completely destroyed before their eyes.

“In the early morning, we were surprised with the Israeli bulldozers encircling our homes and Israeli occupation soldiers calling on us via loudspeakers,” a resident, who became homeless, told Days of Palestine.

Ghassan Daghlas, who monitors illegal Israeli settlement activities in the northern West Bank, said that the Israeli occupation forces had forced Palestinian residents and foreign activists to leave the area in order to immediately demolish the homes and the other structures.

The structures included three barns and a number of small factories. Due to the demolistion of the barns, more than 65 goats and sheep became in the open space.

According to the UN Office for the Coordination of Humanitarian Affairs (OCHA), the Israeli occupation demolished 539 Palestinian-owned structures in 2015, leaving hundreds of Palestinians homeless.
