FAKE NEWS for the Zionist agenda A man is facing a raft of charges after allegedly holding four people hostage with a gun in Brisbane’s south.
Police say the man fled from officers at a convenience store at Upper Mount Gravatt about 9.30am (AEST) on Tuesday.
Officers lost sight of him but then heard a woman’s scream coming from a Perkins Street home.
The area was locked down when police observed the armed man and four people on the ground inside the home.
The man allegedly came out of the house with the four people – one woman and three men. The woman and one of the men being held hostage broke free and ran to the safety of police.
Police allege the offender continued on with the other two hostages but was disarmed and detained while trying to break into a home in Lindwall Street.
One male victim was taken to Princess Alexandra Hospital for treatment to head injuries while the others were treated at the scene.
Police have charged a 35-year-old man with firearm offences, assaulting police, deprivation of liberty, assault, attempted robbery, threatening violence and unlawful use of vehicle.
He will face the Brisbane Magistrates Court on Wednesday.
