A man has been found dead in an antique shop in Sydney’s inner west.
Emergency services were called to the Gleeson Avenue shop in Sydenham shortly before midnight on Thursday following reports a man had been injured.
They arrived to find the body of a 58-year-old man, police said.
According to the Inner West Courier, the man, identified by nearby business owners as Michael, didn’t have many friends or family and often slept at the cluttered shop.
“We are conducting inquiries into the man’s death,” a police spokeswoman told AAP on Friday.
