Awake Goy In defence of her Germany’s weapons sales to the terrorist occupation state, which continuously commits war crimes against Palestinians, Merkel said that her country has a special interest to help protecting the Israeli occupation.
Merkel was speaking jointly with the Israeli president Reuven Rivlin, who visited Berlin for three days last week, just one day after Israeli announcement of buying German-built Saar 6 vessels to patrol offshore gas fields, stolen from Palestinians and Lebanese.
While meeting with Rivlin, she was expected to reiterate her country’s support for the two-state solution regarding the Palestinian-Israeli conflict, but she did not because Rivlin completely opposes the establishment of a Palestinian state, even on a tiny piece of Palestinian land.
“We sell weapons to Israel,” she said, claiming that the Israeli occupation state, which is the only nuclear power in the Middle East with more than 300 rockets with nuclear warheads, is often attacked.
“We also believe that Germany has a special obligation to support Israel,” said Merkel in response to a student’s question about German arms sales to the Israeli occupation, which waged a massive offensive against Palestinians in Gaza last summer, causing the death of 2,260, wounding 11,000.
