Natasha Marie Harris, 30, died on February 25, 2010 in Invercargill on New Zealand’s south island.
Her partner Christopher Hodgkinson claimed it was a result of drinking too much Coca-Cola.
On Thursday he told the inquest Natasha had been unwell leading up to her death and had no energy, but the idea Coca-Cola caused the problem had never crossed their minds.
Mr Hodgkinson told the court that she had been unwell up to a year before her death, including vomiting six times a week, but they believed it was caused by the stress of looking after her eight children and gynaecological problems.
“She drank at least 10 litres a day,” he said. “The first thing she would do in the morning was have a drink of Coke and the last thing she would do in the day was have a drink of Coke by her bed.’’

I’m all for hating the corporates, but come on! She brought it her on herself. Makes a case for eugenics if you ask me. Water is good for you too, but try drinking a whole lot of it. It can kill you, fluoridated or not! Are these test articles, or something?

Hey guys, I can back up what this article says.
In 2008 after having a kid, I went hog wild on Coca Cola and WOW,
up to 12 cans a day.
I developed erythema multiforme and nasty weeping pimple-ish (GMO?) sores, like a diabetic. I was also on an SSRI at the time. Cocktail of doom.
The first thing people notice when they have liver damage by the way, is a mental status change. I didn’t have enough luck to notice, and neither did my family.
I wish the rest of you better luck, and stay away from the psych meds — they cause kidney and liver damage — vet your doctor and read the literature and forums on your meds.

@SuperDuperMan 1776 Pepsi/coke contains HFCS HiughFructose Corn Syrup.CUT OUT drinking it right now.I used to drink 1 can a day as i dont really like hot drinks + i thought Pepsi was Caffeine + sugar + water like coffee but cold.I started to get this weird tiredness/fatigue that was unnatural so i read up on HFCS + havent touched a drop since.ALL tiredness gone + felt so much better for not drinking it.

I drank 2-two liters every day for 10 years. Once I turned 25 I had to quit. My metabolism slowed, and I couldn’t afford the extra 1600 calories of sugar. I had to quit or I would of swelled up to 300 lbs.
Coca Cola is great in moderation. I don’t do moderation.

Non diet coke doesnt contain Aspartame/Aspartame is far more addictive + damaging to health than sugar.

i drink 3 liters of water a day and that’s about all i can handle
These people have be the very LAST people on earth that has not heard or seen the many MANY uses for coke besides drinking it!
Back in the 70′s when I was a kid I already knew if you wanted to strip paint off of anything or clean up your batteries to look like new then just pour some coke on it and start scrubbing!
I could list a dozen or so examples off the top of my head that would prove coke is the best industrial cleaner, ever!
Yet people to this day are stoopid enough to drike it.

I couldn’t determine if it was the caffeine or the aspartame that did her in. Either way, the stuff was poison.
If you go to the site infothread.net, there is an informative article that shows the effects of one bottle of coca cola. Your body is unable to handle that amount of sugar, so they put phosphoric acid in it to keep the body from vomiting. It gets pretty detailed. Its a wonder the woman lived that long.
10 liters a day… and now it’s too late to have her try beyond tangy tangerine…
