Multiple People Injured After Van Slams Into Pedestrians Near Penn Station


A van jumped a curb and hit at least three people near Penn Station around 5:30pm, police said. According to NBC, the vehicle jumped the curb near West 32st Street and Seventh Avenue at about 5:30 p.m., according to authorities.

Law enforcement sources said after the impact, the driver continued on for about a block before stopping on West 31st Street. Sources said he looked dazed after the impact. According to NBC, two women and one man were taken to Bellevue Hospital with minor injuries, police said. The van remained at the scene after what authorities said appears to be an accident, and its driver hasn’t been charged with any crimes.
