Nader, Ron Paul, Kucinich Speak to Occupy Wall Street: Repeal the Federal Reserve Act

October 3, 2011

Ralph Nader, Ron Paul, and Dennis Kucinich offer words of wisdom to the Occupy Wall Street movement. The Occupy Wall Street movement has tremendous potential, but only if we can resist the wedges that the corporate/government cabal continues to try to drive between us.

There are differences of philosophy between progressives and libertarians, but we CAN agree on at least four issues upon which we can make immediate and concrete demands. Success on these demands would go a very long way toward saving the United States and prevent us from falling deeper into serfdom and slavery.

We may never have a better chance than right now.

Ralph Nader Hearts Ron Paul, Hails Potential Left-Libertarian Alliance

Michael Tracey, who wrote about restrictive teen-driving laws in the June issue of Reason, catches up with the consumer crusader for The American Conservative:

Looking ahead to the 2012 presidential race, one might assume that Nader has little to be cheerful about.

“Libertarians like Ron Paul are on our side on civil liberties. They’re on our side against the military-industrial complex. They’re on our side against Wall Street. They’re on our side for investor rights. That’s a foundational convergence,” he exhorts. “It’s not just itty-bitty stuff.” […]

There are nascent movements underway to bring disaffected progressives into Ron Paul’s fold. A new organization called Blue Republican, advertised on the Huffington Post and elsewhere, urges Democrats to pledge their support for Paul. While Nader isn’t willing to endorse Paul’s candidacy at this point, during our interview his praise grew increasingly effusive. “Ron Paul has always been anti-corporate, anti-Federal Reserve, anti-big banks, anti-bailouts,” Nader says. “I mean, they view him in the same way they view me on a lot of these issues. Did you see the latest poll? He’s like two points behind Obama.”

  1. Why not focus on just one issue at a time people. Ending the Federal Reserve Act that the Federal Reserve corporation cooked up back in 1913 should be our first and foremost concern right now. The Federal Reserve Corporation has been this Unions worst desaster ever in the history of the United States. Even Ex-President Woodrow Wilson said it was a mistake that he made and wished he could undo back then.

Let us not disappoint him. Let us not disappoint ourselves. We have the mass attention on this issue RIGHT NOW. Lets do it RIGHT NOW. End the Federal Reserve Act. Even though America is NOT a nation in itself, but ONLY a Union, EVERY State/Nation in this Union should follow the example that the State/country of Utah has set. Begin discussing the issue of having their OWN NATIONAL currency.

Each State/Nation could print it’s own currency, and still have them ALL equill in value towards one another to keep this Union financially stable. Even LOCAL currencies around you would be helpfull in achieveing a better system for you to operate on then the Fed system. The Federal system and it’s notes are massively unstable right now to depend on.

  3. Paul, Kucinich, Nader and Ventura — The Four Horsemen of the restoration.

    • If Paul fails to get the GOP nomination, then it’s pretty much imperative that these four link up.
Remember Nader with the Greens and Ventura with the Reform Party?
These four honest-talking giants together would times that by maybe ten, twenty or even fiftty.@

  5. Ron Paul, Dennis Kucinich, Ralph Nader and Jessee Ventura: The Fantastic 4

    • Though it would be illegal to speak about presidential cabinets before the end of a primary I am not a member of the GOP and have the freedom to say:

In the event of a third Party Run I think Kucinich would make a great Labor Secretary, and Ralph Nader as Agricultural Secretary and Cynthia McKinney as Secretary of State and every one else as Libertarians.

I believe as we take America off the Federal Reserve Pyramid scheme and return sound monetary policies through the Abolishment of Federal Reserve Act, a new free market economy will emerge that instead of only helping those chartered through some secret club to get access to the economy, will create an economic tide that will put every one to work.

I beleive that Private Trade Unions are the best protection against Socialist Revolution a free market economy could have, and should be preserved through a strong Labor Secretary like Kucinich would be. When a hard working Americans family has health care coverage and a pension and a living wage they don’t need the Government.

Did not Trade Guilds start in Gemany and we need to adapt an Austrian style economic model. Germany looks good today and Israelis and Americans can not afford to live out side a television or live in the streets.

Being Libertarian and supporting Private Trade Unions is compatabale.

  6. Imaging if Paul, Kucinich, Nader and Ventura would set aside their minor differences and began touring and appearing together! Imagine how much money they could raise and the excitement amongst undecided voters…would be awesome!!!

    • Do it!!!

  7. Hey Infowars, shouldn’t you put a disclaimer that you don’t agree with the end of this video where it stupidly says “end capitalism”? End the Fed not Capitalism is the message of course. I think Nader is too communist and am surprised he’s on this when he hangs out with the green commies.

    • don’t mean to be rude, but can u read? it says corporatism, not capitalism. there is a difference.

    • I saw end corporatism not capitalism.
You can’t end capitalism because it is already dead, that’s how we got into this mess

    • Blue Republican = RINO .BLUE RINO Season opens in 2012 along with the Regular RINO Season.

  8. Nader is still a fan of big oppressive government when it comes to his liberal agenda… a big issue for any libertarian who wants to end coercive government…

  9. Is Matt Welch serious? I’d like to hear Ron Pauls take an this article.
    Progressives? REALLY?

    • Progressives =Communist. “Tail-Gunner “McCarthy was right!!!

  10. Paul should pick Nader as a running mate. Don’t agree w/Nader on a lot of stuff, but hey…
Could it be any worse than what we got now????

    • YEAH… NADER IS A FRIGGIN JOKE

    • Nader’s more of a honcho than a leader.
